Low Quality - Not Worth the Frustration

This green tea is so bad that it forms solid balls in boiling point hot water and doesn’t solute in hot water. With frustration, I’ve tried to squeeze these hard solid green tea balls and to notice how hard it is to press this is not normal as I’ve had much better green tea.

The flavor isn’t better than what I had with another brand. I feel this is the worst one. I'm glad that I did not purchase large package I've only bought smallest one available to try first.

This matcha powder does not blend as well as others I’ve tried. Even sifting it through a wire strainer there are still a lot of clumps. It also doesn’t taste good. Will stick to higher grade matchas in the future.

This is probably my favorite green tea. I use 1.5 tsp in my cup. Sometimes I drink it as is, sometimes I add a little honey. I love it either way. I like mine a little on the strong side. It's a beautiful deep green color. It's bold without tasting gritty or lumpy.

I made the mistake of getting Three Packages of this Matcha Green Tea Powder, but Not Worth it.
I just Opened the first package and made myself a matcha latte, and is terrible.
= It does Not dissolve well in Hot Milk and it tastes terrible.
*** Not Worth Your Money ***** But you can try it, maybe you'll like it, but I didn't!!!

My usual source stopped selling Pure Leaf matcha packets. I love the quality, flavor, color and versatility of this nutritious tea; which I use mostly for lattes, nice cream and in baked goods (cupcakes and cookies).

Considering the quality of this tea this is a very nice amount for the price. I'll use it more and will continue to purchase it in bulk if it is offered at this price!

The coupon did not apply so had to contact Amazon. They provided a swift accommodation. The product arrived swiftly and very fresh (big bonus).

I was excited for this as i’ve purchased individual packets of matcha from pure leaf in the past and they were good! However, now that i’ve tried many different matchas, this one seems a bit sub-par in comparison.
In foods, it was great — and for the price didn’t feel like I was wasting it by experimenting. However for tea, or lattes, it wasn’t the best. It tasted a bit bland and I had a hard time getting out the chunks. I’ll stick to a ceremonial grade for drinking purposes.
