This cookbook won't disappoint!
Although there are many kinds of gluten-free flours and ingredients, there is a list of substitutions or other options at the end of each recipe (which is amazing and takes all the guess-work out of changing the recipe!). I love that the recipes range from basic ingredient recipes (making your own almond flour or gluten-free flour mix) to savory and sweet treats (thin mint cookies, carrot cake, brownie bites). There's also a raw section, which is fun because you can make quick treats and not even turn on the oven (plus, who doesn't love raw cookie dough?).
All of the treats are vegan, which is fine by me (I'm not vegan) because there's no hassling with eggs and you can use whatever "milk" is in your fridge. If you want to use eggs and dairy though, in the substitutions options at the end of the recipes there are ways to make the recipes with those items! Everybody wins.
Overall, I was really impressed with this unique compilation of healthy treats and photos by two talented and inspiring women.
