Had about a month of kitten food left so mixed the two together to finish the kitten food. My cat just turned (1) in February. My cats were often throwing up the name brand cat food I was using. I got concerned because the vomit looked like it had red dye in it. When I googled that brand I had been using for years, it didn’t get a very good ratings. I decided to change brands, so I googled healthy cat food again. This time I was looking for a brand that was reasonably priced, but also high quality for my cats. My VET told me to never buy any pet food that listed meat-by-products in it, as it would be very low quality and affect the health of my pets.
Anyway, Purine One got a very good reviews and ratings, so I started feeding it to my cats. The cats really like it and their coats are nice and shining. They still occasionally throw up a hair ball, but the vomiting has gotten way, way less frequent.

My cat lately has been demanding treats and not eating h is regular food so decided it was time to change it up. We tried the 7 pound glbag first and he seemed a lot happier with his food. Hasn't asked for treats at night since we switched and starts eating his food right away. He seems to like the salmon a lot, accidentally ordered turkey when we ran out and he didn't like it as much.

I could never get my cat to finish the dry parts of her meals before. Since switching to this brand, she always either finishes her meals or leaves morsels of her wet food. Sometimes when I'm pouring her dry food in, she'll start chowing down before I even mix in the wet food. Obviously, this is circumstantial and I'm very glad I found something that my pet loves, but what I can say regardless is that it's a good quantity and quality at a reasonable price. Definitely worth giving a try if your pet is actively not finishing their meals, but probably not worth switching if your pet already likes what they have.

Well, we’ve learned what we feed our pets can, in the long run, end their lives sooner with cheap pet foods. This is in the middle price wise and not the worst out there for ingredients. We have 5 cats at the moment… 3 very old, and very sweet stray that adopted us over the holidays. So price matters. None of the cats throw it up, which was an issue before changing over to this brand. They get wet food too which is very important to keep these felines hydrated! I keep kibble in storage bin as the size I buy, 7 Lb, does not self seal.
