This review is for the "Purity Organic Juice, Orange Mango Paradise." This is a juice drink with only 20% juice which is using the organic claim to make you think it is healthy rather than full of empty calories from organic sugar. Eat some real fruit organic or not and have a drink of water instead. Plus the taste was just OK.

This "juice drink" tastes pretty good, it is very smooth (not pulpy at all), has a good orange mango flavor and is really sweet. However, being a "juice drink" with only 20% juice, it does have a slightly watered-down taste compared to pure orange juice. The closest thing I could compare this to is the Simply Orange brand tropical juice drink - which is perhaps slightly more watered-down and not quite as sweet as this one. I give this only 3 stars because with the name "organic" and "purity" you would expect something a bit more healthy, I think. Sure the 20% juice in this product is organic, but it is also really sugary. I'd definitely skip this drink and go for actual 100% OJ if I'm looking for a healthier and better option.

I first found Purity.Organic drinks when i was traveling in california. the safeways out there all seem to stock them, but they're impossible to find in my state. All-natural ingredients with a fantastic taste - you just can't beat these juice drinks!

Strawberry Paradise is hands down one of the best juices that I've had so far! I always get cravings for it. Yum! If you're a fan of the strawberry lemonade that Wendy's has, you'll love this stuff. There's a very nice tartness/sweetness combination. It's not too overpowering like some lemonades get. And how awesome that it's organic! ...Especially since if you're like me, you'll be scarfing these down like they're going out of stock.

Generically, this juice is acceptable in the sense that it is drinkable, if only barely. It is really, really sweet, loaded up with sugar. It's worth noting that it is only 20% juice; I'm more used to things that are 100% juice. For all that it states that it has citrus notes, I couldn't detect them. Basically, all that I could taste was sugar and some mango flavors.

But it is a terrible value. Dole juice is a few dollars for a few liters. This is far, far north of that cost. And the only significant difference is that this makes people feel better because it is organic. Meh. I'd pass on this in favor of something that is much more affordable and much less sweet.

Over the last few years I've purged our house of MSG, high fructose corn syrup and as much prepared convenience foods as possible. I try to buy organic and we grow much of our own fruits and vegetables. I also pack school lunches every day because I can feed them cheaper and healthier than the school can.

I was interested in this organic juice because it doesn't have to be refrigerated, and mango is a favorite fruit in our house. Unfortunately, this means the product has to be pasteurized, which kills most of the Vitamin C in it. But it's still a better choice than soda or sports drinks.

I'm happy to say it's really good! The ingredients are: filtered water, organic cane sugar (no GMO beet sugar or HFCS!), organic mango puree, organic orange juice concentrate, natural flavors, citric acid and ascorbic acid. The bottle says it contains 20% juice.

Nutritional info per serving (1/2 bottle): 110 calories, 0 grams fat, 0 mg sodium, 28 grams carbs, 26 grams sugars, 0 protein, 10% daily recommended requirements vitamin A, and 100% vitamin C.

It's a little pricey at nearly $3 per bottle, but as an occasional treat these pass my Mom Test for healthy ingredients and I'll buy them again.

Flavor Name: Lemonade
Besides the fact that Purity is helping raise awareness of the importance of organic produce and those hard working farmers that make it possible, this is quite frankly some of the best Lemonade you will ever taste, no kidding. Try one and you'll be hooked, I promise.

Not to promote alcoholic drinking, but I suspect using this Lemonade as well as some of their other flavors as a cocktail mixer would probably make you the talk of the party. I'm just sayin'.

Enjoy!

I was startled when I tasted the mangoes in this drink. I neglected to read the fine print, thinking this drink was orange. The combination of orange and mango is unusual, and I suspect it would take me more than a single bottle to get accustomed to the taste. I do like the flavor, which is enhanced by pure cane sugar to the tune of 26 grams. Indeed, one bottle of this juice provides 9% of your daily allowance of carbohydrates, so you probably want to avoid guzzling multiple bottles in a day.

I think the mango flavor dominates the juice, which is fine because I like mangoes. The orange is detectable, but is relatively subtle compared to the mango. Of course, the sweetness of the cane sugar manages to provide a third sensation in addition to the mango and orange flavors. I am not sure if "pure" has a taste, but the taste of the fruit and the sugar is natural and delicious to me. If you like mangos, oranges, and cane sugar, I definitely recommend you give this juice a chance.

This juice also advertises that it is "organic." That term seems to be applied to just about everything these days, including juice. So if you are big into oranges, mangoes, cane sugar, and organic, this juice could be a win, with the possibly exception of 26 grams of sugar.

Enjoy!
