I had most of the songs on here since the 80's bootlegs included. But having studio quality of fathers song was worth the money for me. Although it makes me sad when i hear it.

Great collection,great price... minus 1 star because the cardboard used for the case is on the cheap side,probably the reason for the low price (mine ripped after 3 days)

It was amazing to hear high quality versions of Computer Blue (Hallway Speech Version) and God (Love Theme From Purple Rain). The remastered quality of the original album was great (When Doves Cry is still an amazing track), but the added bonuses were the 11 additional songs like Father's Song.

" Good morning, children!" I was sixteen years old when this amazing musical event was released in 1984. I bought every single and 12" for the extra tracks and extended versions. I saw the Purple Rain tour and the movie more times than i can count. I am THRILLED with this release. It's great to have the b-sides and 12" on CD and it is worth every penny to be able to put Disc 2 N 2 the car stereo, roll down the windows and drive and blast "The Dance Electric" and "Possessed". I can't tell much difference in the original albums remastered and remixed version, and the single edits are there just for completion but there is enough funk and roll on Disc 2 and 3 to make the purchase worth it. It's like getting a whole new Prince album circa 1984. No extra footage on the concert dvd. Insightful liner notes from Susan Rodgers and the Revolution.

The Purple Rain Deluxe version was so worth the wait!! I love the extended/movie version of Let's Go Crazy, extended version of Computer Blue & the unreleased songs are unbelievable. Most notably "The Dance Electric"(where are the guitar solos though???) , "Love & Sex", "Possessed", "Electric Intercourse", "Wonderful Ass", "Father's Song" & "We Can F***". Of course the bonus concert DVD is a must have for any fan of his. Enter the greatest soundtrack ever, the re-mastered songs really bang!!! R.I.P Prince aka GOAT

It arrived a day earlier, and I couldn't be more excited! The CDs are beautiful, the artwork is amazing, I love everything about this! A lovely tribute to such an electric Entertainer.
