About the Author
Jake Ducey, a kid from a good Southern California family, seemed to have it all. But he didn’t. Something was missing, and the emptiness had led him to a life fueled by alcohol and drugs. Following his heart, Jake left it all behind and, with his meager savings, traveled the world. He discovered that what he was seeking was inside himself the entire time—that our destiny is realized only if we look within ourselves first. Upon returning from his spiritual adventure, Jake raised the funds to build a school and home for orphans in Guatemala. Now twenty-one, Jake is the author of Into the Wind and The Purpose Principles and he speaks throughout the country on consciously and responsibly creating our lives.

The pages are full of inspirational stories and quotes from other successful people, as well as Ducey himself, to help you get it together so you can live your best life. And it isn't just about being positive. It's about us all having the same potential, realizing it, and then working hard to make our dreams a reality.
I read Jake's first book, Into the Wind, almost 3 years ago. It was that book which inspired me to take a break from school to travel, which in turn led me to become much more optimistic, which in turn led me to start a floatation therapy business.
I highly recommended you check out this young author's work. I will continue to read Ducey's work over the years to come.
Full Disclosure: I recently interviewed Jake for our Inspire Nation Show.
I had a LOT of fun with this book. So many great stories, so many examples of people who have stepped out of the box, taking risks, followed their hearts, and found their way. That doesn't mean it was easy, and as he shares, it often isn't. But Jake says the greatest risk is not daring to live your greatest life. And I couldn't agree more.
The way he weaved the stories of well-known personalities was brilliant. He shows the reader what they went through before their "glory" days. So inspiring!
My believe in myself and what I can achieve has increased immeasurably since reading this book. And as I stated in the beginning, I still reread sections for daily inspiration.
