I remembered playing this game as a child and it’s as fun as I remembered. I loved caretaking my cat, and I think the mini-games to earn money are super fun. The cat is really needy, but I think it’s a good life lesson too! So cute and nostalgic!

I decided to get a game my two year old may be interested in for car rides and waits at the doctor's office. This game has things that are simple such as moving the stylus across the screen to pet and groom you kitten and also to move toys around to play with it. The game also has a game similar to guitar hero where you tap notes when they pass by colored circles. This is done to classic children's songs as well as some classical music pieces. The entire family enjoys it!

I bought this game for my 4 year old. She really enjoys it and is able to operate all but the "games" section. Those are a bit more challenging, but could probably be handled by a 7-8 year old. The games area is where you are able to make money so you can be accessories for your kitty. For my daugher, she enjoys cleaning the litter box, feeding it, brushing the kitty, petting it, playing games with it and finding accessories in the shopping area. All in all it was a good purchase and makes excellent use of the touch pad and the mircrophone (you blow into it to make a butterfly fly for the kitten to chase.)

Purr Pals is a very repetitive game in which you must take care of your cat (which has a tendency to use the restroom a bit too much!) The mini games get boring very quickly. Some of the graphics are more realistic than others. You can customize your cat so he/she has pink or blue whiskers! It's cute and fun at first and then it gets very, very dull and predictable. Of course this is only my opinion and you must use your own judgment before purchasing any video game because everyone has their own idea of what a fun video game truly is! C : I believe this game caters to younger users (13 and younger)

In my opinion Nintendogs is more interesting, although it also become very repetitive!

My granddaughter, who was turning 7 yrs old, requested this for her birthday. It was late for her big day , however, certainly worth it once it arrived. I was unable to buy it at a local store but thanks to Amazon, I was able to find and buy it for her.

She thinks it is the best game ever...
