She is no mother

Wow, what a book when a mother turns her back on her child and a man have sex with her, and she have a baby by this man not one but two and the mother don't do nothing, you have to ask yourself what kind of mother is she? but to see how precious journey to get and education for her children's and learn to read and write will touch your heart.

Interesting but prurient

I wish I would've known up front that the book is quite entirely R-rated,and through the persepctive of someone whose entire life is basically absorbed in obsessing over the incestuous experiences she's had.

Nothing is resolved; she learns to read and write, learns her dad infected her with AIDs.

Not a book I could even donate to Goodwill after reading, too borderline-pornographic. I had to throw it out.
