Top customer reviews
1.) the container is AMAZING. Buy it for that reason alone and fill it with other bubble solution. The thing is watertight. I keep it in my purse and it gets upside down all the time. Couldn't do that if it leaked.
My issue with these bubbles -- and perhaps it's from the purse movement after about 3 months, which did make it frothy due to its thickness -- is that:
2.) they don't work well as in they don't always produce a successful blow. The wand will get a film, which just dies.
3.) and when they do, they last about 10 seconds. Literally. They'll all pop at the same time, in 10 seconds or less. I even used them outdoor on a hot, shorts and tank top day and
4.) they didn't go above my 5'6" head height. What's the point of bubbles if they are just going to disappear shortly after being blown or just sink sullenly to the ground?
I was blowing bubbles in front of a hotel one time (NOT THESE BUBBLES -- OTHER ONES) and they went up to the third floor, which also takes more than 10 seconds to do. That solution was great. This one, meh.
5.) This is messy because the solution is thick, which means that it gets stuck in the lid (the base of the wand) and will continually ooze out. Other liquid will, too, of course, but because it's thick it's hard to physically adjust/compensate in order to prevent getting it on yourself.
These work best indoors when you don't necessarily want them to go high, far or need to cover a lawn with magical bubbles.
