As human beings, we are not able to comprehend the depth of God's love for us. We don't deserve it, yet God gave it to us because of His unconditional love for us.

And what do we do with that grace and love? Often times we behave as if we are entitled. We extol the beauty of it but don't immerse ourselves in it, much less extend it to others.

Richard Blackaby, author of Putting a Face on Grace: Living a Life Worth Passing On, reminds us, through practical techniques, personal stories, biblical stories, and a study guide, of the ways that we can accept God's grace and offer it to others.

You won't have to turn too many pages before you're reminded of how you personally have or have not embraced grace and offered it to others.

I read Putting a Face on Grace: Living a Life Worth Passing On while flying from Washington D.C. to Phoenix via Minneapolis. We had left the nation's capitol in a snowstorm. Flights had been cancelled and rerouted. In the chaos, my first-class seat had been lost to another with more "status."

I admit I was annoyed. That's when I read Blackaby's first story about being upgraded on a plane trip. Well, I had been downgraded. But the principal was the same. I could be upset and upset those around me or rejoice in the fact that I had an actual seat (many didn't). I chose to be grateful. I felt better and I know my attitude and behavior impacted (for the better) those around me.

Armchair Interviews: Richard Blackaby's book is a must read. Embrace God's grace, accept His unconditional love and put that love into practice. Your life and the lives of those around you will be enriched. Pass it on and see it grow.

Grace is perhaps one of the least understood characteristics of our Lord and Richard Blackaby does a wonderful job revealing what it means to live by grace. He makes it very clear that "grace is" forgiving someone or doing something for someone even thought they do not deserve it. Blackaby helps us become more of God's truth and Grace by sharing his own life story and how he has learned to exercise grace.

This is one of the best books I have read in a long time. It is my plan to read it a second time, and this time I will be using a high-lighter on some of the many really good principles for successful living. My thanks to Richard Blackaby for letting God speak through him.

One of the best books on both experiencing and the need for a practical outworking of God's grace in a person's life that we have ever read. We are reading it together for the third time and it is just as enjoyable as the first time.

This book reminds us that God has given us plenty of grace and we should share with others, not hoard it for ourselves while we cast judgement on everyone else. It is an easy read, written in a conversational style. I'd recommend it to anyone.

I read this book and found it most helpful and encouraging. I'm just wondering why Amazon doesn't sell a kindle version of this title? Barnes and Noble has an epub version for the Nook and they sell it here in the U.S. So what's the deal?
