This putting pamphlet is of small in size and number of pages but long on some great putting games and drill to help you learn all about putting. There is a table of contents so you can look up a specific game and page number. Pat has a nice introduction to her putting games and why she wanted to publish these games. We all could use some good tips and even enjoy it while we are learning a lot about putting.
The author has not listed these putting games in any particular order but read through them. Try to find some time to get to the putting green and try out some of these putting games. The first one is a Lag putting game with the main purpose is to learn about speed of the green to lag your ball to a circle you have marked on the green. Make a game of it with your friends and award points for the person who could land their ball in the center of the circle.
There are so many cleaver putting drills and games that you will be eager to get started. I was fascinated by the Slope & Go which main purpose is to learn how to read the greens. This game places six tees around the hole making sure there is a slope to the hole. As you start to putt notice the slope and judge your putt accordingly looking for how the ball breaks. Each of these putts will be different so watch closely as to how the ball rolls and breaks with the slope of the green.Read more ›
