I played this game on my kindle keyboard.
Okay, First of all..this game is incredibly fun but it is challenging, even on the "easy" setting. The instructions are relatively easy to understand for each puzzle. I did come across a couple that I had to reread the instructions a couple of times to understand what the puzzle was about. I like that it included different puzzles. The math puzzles are not simplistic in any way, which I like despite the fact that I abhor (and I mean, ABHOR) math. The puzzles are complex and well constructed. I warmed up with the puzzles in the easy category, but let me tell you..they are not as easy as I was expecting and I am an avid puzzler. Like I said, the easy level had a couple puzzles that really made me bend the brain. One great thing about this Puzzle set is the levels go up in a way that the difficulty is not astronomically different. There is nothing more annoying than beating one setting only to get trashed on the next one because it is like 100x harder. It's just the right amount of challenge progression! I am humble enough to say that even though I had no significant issues with the first two levels..the hard and master levels kicked me in the brain.

One thing I didn't like was sometimes I would press the turn page button instead of my arrow keys, which would make me skip to the next puzzle. I'm not sure if that could be programmed differently but it isn't such a bad thing that I would quit playing it. I'm already addicted. Also, I would have loved to see how the answers were derived from some of the puzzles I failed miserably. Most of the time, it shows you how to get the correct answer but on a couple of the puzzles there isn't a real explanation. But then as I progressed to higher levels, I saw the same trend.

Puzzle Quizzes is the epitome of averageness. There's nothing really wrong with it but it's not the most fun Kindle game either. Early on in the game there seems to be a decent variety of math and visual puzzles. However, the further along you go into the game the more repetitive things seem to become. As you are playing the game, when you complete a puzzle successfully, you will be able to instantly access the next puzzle with a simple tap. It goes in progressive order, but, unfortunately, it does not inform you, for example, if you have completed all of the easy puzzles are and thus now going the medium puzzles. You also do not know when you're in a puzzle which puzzle it is. It would be an improvement of each puzzle would be marked, for example, easy puzzle 1, as you are playing it. As for scoring, you earn 3 stars for getting a puzzle correct on your 1st try, 2 stars for a correct guess on your 2nd try, and 1 star if you manage it on your 3rd guess. Unfortunately this game lacks the "try to beat your score" element usually found in Kindle games. The structure is multiple choice, usually with 4 choices with an occasional 3 choice puzzle mixed in. There is a finite 100 puzzles so once you complete them, that's it. Further volumes are available for purchase, but I do not recommend said purchase even at $1 per volume. This game is okay and solving its math and visual puzzles is enjoyable at first. The big weakness of the game is that the law of diminishing returns kicks in before too long and is noticeable. Average game that can be passed on. Just kind of "there"

This is a great collection of puzzles! While I have not yet reached the Master level, I am finding these games addictive, fun, sufficiently challenging, and stretching for my brain. They span a range of brain functioning regions such as spatial relations, math, logic, distance, and word recognition, among others.

There is one type of puzzle, the Typitoons, that I have not seen before. The basic genres of puzzles repeat themselves through the levels, so for people who may be unfamiliar with a certain type of puzzle, you have a chance to figure out the basic idea before being stumped with a harder version. I found that to be a strength of this game.

Another aspect I really liked is that the puzzles are tight. They aren't sloppy, this was not hastily thrown together as some are, and the games are a solid, coherent series as you work up through the levels. There is sufficient variety to keep them interesting, and the levels seem well-thought-out as you increase in skill. I like that when I got an incorrect answer (on purpose, of course!), that instead of just providing the right answer, I had more opportunities to figure it out and choose another answer. For certain puzzles where I didn't quite get the logic the first time, this was helpful, both in the individual puzzle and in future puzzles as I played up through the sets.

For anyone looking to sharpen their thinking skills or just looking to pass some enjoyable time, I recommend this set of puzzles. They are sufficiently engaging, fun, and well-done. I will look for more by these puzzle producers!

Now these puzzles are quick, fun and easy on a kindle....well, depending on what level you are on! Having tried the other puzzles on my 'ancient' keyboard kindle (who uses these anymore?) I was left a bit frustrated trying to navigate to accomplish simple tasks like rotating the pieces, etc. The way these puzzles are situated in this volume, it took all that out and made it so much easier to navigate using the tiny keyboard that I was able to focus more on the fun puzzles and not on what my fingers were doing wrong!

I found these puzzles to be something you could do quickly when you have a little bit of time as they are easily solvable by just looking at them. Challenge yourself even more by setting a given time and getting through as many as you can in that level with the least amount of errors. Overall, these puzzles make it fun to train your brain!! I gave it a 4 again not because of the puzzles but because of having to do it on a keyboard kindle!
