5'' Titanium driver like this one and liked it a lot

I purchased the Pyle-Pro PDS182 1.5'' Titanium driver like this one and liked it a lot. So i decided to replace the horn driver on my other speaker also. So i purchased this one to go into my second speaker. It has to be great! because it cost more, magnet weighs more, and has a higher wattage rating. And of course it has great reviews, if only a few. Well the $25 Pyle-Pro PDS182 1.5'' Titanium driver sounds much better. Ill be returning this horn driver and purchasing another Pyle-Pro PDS182 1.5'' Titanium driver. Its cheaper and sounds much clearer and louder. More expensive dossnt necessarily mean better.

i decided to replace the 12 inch woofer and the soft dome tweeter in a mtx tp 1200 2-way speaker.... the mtx tp 1200 speakers are vary good, but i needed higher sound pressure levels... i did not want to buy new completed speakers, because the cabinets on the mtx's are in vary good shape... first, i had to buy a adapter for the horn lens to hold this tweeter in place, this is a screw on type of driver.... after replacing the woofer, reinforced the speaker inside to hold the new woofer and replaced the crossover with a higher power crossover and the results are outstanding in sound... vary good high levels, not harsh, but crisp and clear, including mid voice.... if you are looking for a replacement tweeter this one will do the trick.....
