This home theater tower brings a beautiful, powerful sound system, iPod player and charger to any room of your home. The 600 watt system is just booming with power, thanks to dual 3.5” tweeters, 3.5” mid-range drivers, and a 300-watt subwoofer that packs a massive punch. Simply plug in your iPod (classic, nano, and touch models are all compatible) and you’re ready to go – plus, this unit charges your iPod, so the party only stops when you run out of music! But when you do, just turn on the built-in FM radio to keep the music flowing. There’s also an alarm clock so you can wake up to your favorite music. Don’t have an iPod? This unit is also equipped with a stereo RCA aux jacks on back – so you can plug in almost anything with stereo sound. Use the front panel touch controls or the included remote to adjust the volume, bass, treble, and even sort through your iPod’s music. The blue LCD display is bright and crisp, and the black wood finish is elegant and clean. Includes a 110 V AC to 21 V DC adaptor.

Update: while Pyle's customer service was non-existent, I was very impressed with Amazon's customer service. After a quick phone call to Amazon, they are sending a new one to me even before I send the old one back. Superb service Amazon!
the remote and face controls have the worst and most anti-intuitive controls i have ever used. very confusing. if you want to use an iphone it gets worse... once the iphone locks you will have random select, play and pause features only until you manually unlock the phone with a finger swipe to the screen. this thing is not at all what i was expecting considering the specs given.
$190.00 is probably a fair price considering it's looks and okay sound
very nice looking piece of furniture with a nice finish (piano black)
cool blue lcd glow that is not overpowering.
decent, useable sound that will fit a small room (think dorm room or small apartment)
space saving design for that small room.
NOT 600 WATTS AS RATED!!
not very loud or booming as one would expect from a 600w PYLE unit
horrible UI both on the remote and face controls
not very stable and must be installed against a wall (preferrably a corner for best fit)
it will fall over if left free standing
piano finish is a fingerprint magnet
not made for iphone
NOT 600 WATTS AS RATED!!
so if you want tunes in the bathroom or quiet out of the way ambient sound this is for you!
if you want 600 watts of power and plan on rockin' some beats... look elsewhere as i think a simple 50watt computer speaker system will out perform this disappointment from PYLE.
When I plugged this 600 watt baby in, wow ! Works great and the sound is beautiful.
The 4 instead of 5 stars is the way it is set up. I left my iPod plugged into the unit over night and it drained all the power out of the battery/ Really ticked me off. I turned the unit off with the main unit switch in the back. I think this was the reason for the battery drain. The control panel lights stay on.. I was trying to turn them off. The only way to turn the units light off is to turn the main switch in the back...OFF .
I guessing now.. but if the unit is kept turned on ( the control panel light stays on) Then the unit will keep your iPod charged.
Turn the back switch OFF while your iPod is plugged in,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, and look out. BIG dead iPod. Who ever designed the format on the control's should be sent back to the funny farm. I'm trying my best to figure out how to work this thing without going through all the menu's, just to get my iPod to play. Great unit, but very poorly thought out.
