This unit has everything you would like to have. The CD player is located on the front of the unit and so is the analog tuning FM/AM radio. All control functions are located on the front of the unit as well. It has the cassette player located on the side. I don't really care for the slot loading cassette player. It is like the ones in the 1970s in dash car stereos. But I can't complain because it functions well. The Bluetooth paired with my new Android phone and tablet easily. I was able to play Pandora through it with a decent Bluetooth range of about 20 feet.
Final opinion: It is a good combination of old and new technology all combined in an attractive antique wooden cabinet. I personally don't like the slot loading cassette player and I would have preferred a front loading cassette player with automatic hinged doors. They are easier to maintain and clean. The record player functions well and the sound is good. You can connect your Bluetooth device and listen to video and audio files. It is definitely worth the money Amazon is asking for it
The record player 'worked' in 33, 45 and 78 and seemed will calibrated in each speed and although I would have liked a manual calibration control I didn't expect one. There is a problem with the tone arm, when placed on the vinyl there seems to be some pre-load on the arm because almost every time you place the needle down on the start track of a 33 rpm record it will jump into the tracks, yes starching the first two groves. This does not happen when playing 45's and 78's.
The other thing I don't like is that it doesn't have a Cue Lever to lift the tone arm away from the record or to drop into another track. The handle you need to grab is really small which makes it hard to lift the needle away from the record without causing a scratch. You may want to take this into consideration if you plan to play allot of vinyl and cherish it; it will get scratched.
I'm also concerned that I would not be able to find replacement needles (cartridges) and drive belts the Pyle site and manual do not provide a list of any replacement parts. This maybe something you might want to consider as it's a shame to have a $100.00 plus system you can't use because the needle or belt can't be found and replaced.
In less than 4 hours of play time in 3 days the turntable stopped working. I called Pyles warranty support (718) 535-1800 and was sent to voice mail I left a voice mail and sent an email as well. After the 2nd day of waiting for them to contact me by phone or email with no results I called them back; was sent (again) to voice mail only this time I got a message telling me that the warranty was full! and the their phone system hung up. I called back and after pressing 2 for support I pressed 0 to get a person (Zero by the way is not a menu option).
After waiting on hold for 10 minutes and inarticulate person came on the phone who I had to tell the model number to 3 times ( P T C D 4 B T ) before he got it, told me my warranty was good for one year. I said yes I know that I've had it for 3 days and the turn table stopped working. He told me they could fix it but I would have to pay the shipping. Really??? For a manufacturers defective product a said he said yes because they are not the manufacture just a repair center. I said that's not what it says when I called your number. I know he said, but we are the repair center you pay shipping and we will repair it and send it back to you.
I opted another choice, return it to the online store I bought it from, with a no charge return shipping, and buy a competitors brand. If this is how Pyle treats their customers this will be that last item I buy from them. And I bought allot of Pyle Audio products in the past. IS also a shame because this item does look good and sounds decent. But it's about more than the product, it about knowing the manufacture is going to back their products and provide the best in customer support. There are few manufactures of retro turntables, I'm going to call them and see about their customer support BEFORE I purchase this time.
