I have been bitten in the back by stuff from Pyle Pro before...speakers, wireless mics, etc. They are an extremely cheap brand and there is a reason for the low cost...the stuff is very poorly made and does not last and will likely cause you stress/problems/embarrassment at the exact worst possible time. I know it can be tempting since they are so well priced and usually include more tech...like this USB/SD card reader on this one...but it is not worth taking the chance.
The USB functionality (that is playing music off a USB stick) only works in as much as it plays songs alphabetically. You cannot arrange them by numbering the songs etc...so if you are trying to create a specific playlist, it won't work. The mic included is a wired mic that is not that good...you had to turn up the gain almost all the way and then turn up the main volume to about 80% before it was really audible...that is a recipe for feedback if ever there was one. Sound in general is descent, but honestly...look into an Ion Block Rocker or one of the Samson battery operated speakers if you really need this type of thing...but just be aware of the return policy as it might apply to anything with a rechargeable battery of a certain size.
Music loops automatically, and there is no real way to change it. It will repeat either the song or entire album (you can choose). This might be good for some, but SO ANNOYING for me, as I had to continually hit the stop button.
The USB reader did not work at all. I never was able to get this device to play any music via flash drive.
Be mindful how much you will be transporting this. The little rubber wheels are similar to suitcase wheels, and I had to take one off and fix it the first day --granted I had wheeled it about a mile or two.
Overall, I'm really pleased. Compact size, good sound, various ways to play your tunes.
Dislikes --After playing for hours, it cut itself off or goes to a low volume. I turn it on/off, then it starts playing again. I haven't figured out why?? When using a USB, it plays like a tape recorder (one song at a time, so you are unable to jump around easily).

Really like the USB/SD card feature.
Beware it's very heavy.
