Just what I needed

I'm in the process of a kitchen remodel, and had already wired the ceiling with speaker wire from my receiver. Since the ceiling was being redone, I took the opportunity to install these. I've installed similar speakers, and these proved perfect for the job. I cut out the template, used a drywall saw to cut the circle, and "screwed down" the speaker. These things are solid and a bit heavy, which is a good thing. Since they're mounted directly to drywall, the ceiling acts as a resonator to enhance bass response. Great value for $50 for the pair.

Great product! Paired this with the “Pyle Bluetooth Receiver Wall Mount | In-Wall Audio Control Receiver with Built-in Amplifier | USB, Microphone, Aux (3.5mm) Input | Speaker Terminal Block | Connect 2 Speakers - 100 Watt (PWA15BT),White” and am extremely pleased. I would suggest building some type of speaker box with insulation to help with lose of sound up and out. For just over $100 I got a fully operational in ceiling speaker system. 5/5 would recommend.

Great set of speakers for what you pay. I am using them as height (atmos) speakers with my home theatre system. Installation in my drop ceiling was easy enough. Sound wise, they are pretty full range, not a lot of bass but very nice sounding. Overall, I highly recommend them.
