I initially chose this set so I could get the right size glass bowl for melting chocolate but immediately found all three sizes of bowls useful for a busy weekend of cooking and baking. The large bowl fell out of the fridge when I opened it at one point (my fault) and it didn't break! Very impressed with that. The bowls arrived tightly packaged and in perfect condition. Not a flaw anywhere. The price was prohibitive for some time and then when it went down (50%!) to $31 a few days ago, I bought them. The prior price was ridiculous but that's the Amazon game. I also couldn't find this set anywhere else in Canada to buy for months, who knows why. Now to wait for the lids to go down in price.

    Very good quality glassware, thick and heavy. Long lasting. Has been more than 3 years and still going strong. Use them at least three times a week. Intend to buy another set with larger bowls.
