very happy with this measuring cup. I like the design of the handle that makes for easy handling, and the wide opening and shallower depth for easier use. I microwave vegetables for a few minutes, and when I grab onto the handle, it's only sightly warm - if that - to the touch, so taking it out and working with it is secure and well under control. I highly recommend the Pyrex 4-Cup Glass Measuring Cup .

These measuring cups are hefty, like I like them. They nestle well together so they don't take up too much room. With English measures on one side and metric on the other, they are very usable. If I could put on my wish list, I am lefthanded and the English measures are only visible when I use the measuring cups right handed. But I think it's something us lefties have dealt with all our lives, so it isn't a deal breaker.

This brand has some manufacturing changes, which you can read about online. I bought them anyway, and I'm glad I did. I have both old and new Pyrex, and they are basically the same. I mostly use them for liquid measure, microwaving, and sometimes storing liquid in the fridge. It's handy to have two sets when cooking. One would really have to abuse these to shatter them.
