You think you're buying Pyrex, so you trust it to go from oven or microwave to stovetop without any problem, right? My mother bought me one of these a few years ago, and this is the second one that has exploded on us - yes, exploded, for no reason at all. The first time, I baked acorn squash in the toaster oven. I took it out when done and we went on to eat our dinner. After dinner, I put the (not at all hot) pan in the sink and it literally exploded all over my kitchen. Big and small shards of glass everywhere!
I thought it was a fluke. So, I ordered this one on Amazon - it's Pyrex, right? Tonight, I was making meatloaf - removed the pan from the oven and put it on the stove top - it exploded! Glass and meatloaf everywhere! It's amazing that no one was hurt during both of these blow ups. I plan to complain to both Amazon and Pyrex about this very dangerous product. I see there are other similar reviews - do not buy this!
