the groove on this is wonderful. If they come out with a remix that is st8 dancin funk, it will take this song over the edge. It is welcomed and quite refreshing!!!! I remember when prince use to do this. *sigh* It has a retro feel that is wonderfully stank, and the keyboards are slammin!!! this is some thumpy, and God knows the lyrics are tight. They brang it on this one, now make a str8 dance bang version and rock the clubs and four wheelers!!!!

Janelle Monae is a great artist. It is really unfortunate she has not received more attention from the masses. This is a great single and I really wish it received more national attention. I don't even like R&B like that. This song goes hard though and Ms. Badu's inclusion makes it even better.

In the world of "American Idol" where the average prole's ability to appreciate real talent has been dumbed-down to absolute zero, and where media consolidation has made it nearly impossible for an outsider to make it big, the sad saga of Janelle Monae continues. With the recent release of "Q.U.E.E.N."once again Janelle reminds the cognoscenti that her talent is at the zenith of pop music. Yet, this stellar performance will be consigned to those increasingly few of us who can recognize true art. Please spread the word: Janelle is the greatest. If she was given the opportunity she would rule the airwaves, but alas, in the early 21st century that just won't happen. Just sayin'. Over and out.

Janelle Monae is a such a talented artist. Her groove is always funky, fun, lyrics tight and thoughtful. This collaboration with Erykah Badu is awesome. I totally love this tune and look forward to more offerings from this incredibly creative and engaging artist.

If there is one thing that I have always liked about Janelle Monae, is that she has a lot more talent from her voice, than all of the overexposure artists like Beyonce' Knowles and Rihanna could even make if they tire others out. I have absolutely loved her song Tightrope which really delivered 3 years ago, and welcomed her voice into a new era brilliantly. Her latest song Q.U.E.E.N. from her upcoming album sophmore album The Electric Lady, actually delivers well not just in soul, but also continues to show her voice expanding nicely to a generation that needs to know what a good sense from a voice sounds like. I definitely hope there are more good songs from Janelle coming soon. She has what many singers stopped showing, good talent.

Catchy, beautiful and two of the most talented ladies in R&B and neo soul. Really looking forward to Janelle's new album.

The thing that got me to buy it was the video. I had never heard the song till I saw the video on tv. And one of my favorite singers was on the single which Is Erykah Badu. I'm usually not a fan of Janelle Monae's music but when I listened to the lyrics and the beat and its positive outlook it made me like the song even m ore.
