I'm very disappointed. Not only did using this stick not provide relief, it made my neck/shoulder problems worse. The pain in my shoulder blades due to a pinched nerve was made much worse.
Also, the foam grip rotates around the handle, making it very difficult to hold the stick at any angle. you can only effectively use it if you hold it straight, in vertical alignment with your body. You'd need a death grip on the foam grip to hold the stick at an angle.
I must have failed to check whether the quantity on my order was correct, as I got, and was charged for three sticks. So now I'm stuck with three of these useless sticks: $74.97 worth useless plastic.
Today, I was using it normally, at the computer chair, like I usually do (sometimes standing, too), and it just snapped. There was a loud crack that made my ear ring, and the top part just flew off and slammed into my door making a loud bang. I still can't find the pointy end. I'll keep looking for it.
I am going to contact the company and see if they can help out, but I am sure I am out of the warranty period at this point.
I will edit my review if they respond.
I would have originally rated this as a 3 star product. At $25, it's just a bit too expensive for the performance you get out of it. At $15, I think this would be a hands down 5 star product.
I took off a star because it snapped after about 1 year 1 month of actual usage.
EDIT: Turns out this review is hidden by sensitivity filter, although I am not sure why. Customer service was never responsive to my inquiry about the product breaking, and I even reached out to them outside of Amazon. Not pleased at all.
I bought my first Q-Flex the same night we saw it on Shark Tank and I've been in love ever since. I have a very long history of tension in my shoulder and between my shoulder blades and no one can ever seem to be able to find the right spot or put enough pressure on the right spot, for anywhere near long enough. I've used golf balls against the wall, but they slip as soon as you find the right spot. I used to use a shiatsu neck massager but I ended up rubbing off chunks of skin trying to get enough pressure on the knot in my back. So when I saw this on Shark Tank... I was ordering it before the segment was over.
I've since gotten two of my sisters, my niece and my niece's boyfriend all on the Q-Flex train. This thing is the best thing to ever happen to shoulder tension knots!!!
