500 Oregon Laminations Premium brand Business Card size 5 mil hot laminating pouches 2-1/4" x 3-3/4" with standard 1/8" radius rounded corners and clear gloss finish. High gloss finish makes colors pop. Maximum sheet size recommended for this pouch is 2" x 3-1/2" (or less) to leave standard 1/8" border of clear laminate around all sides of card for a secure sealed edge. Metric specs: 57mm x 95mm and 125 microns thick per flap. Made of PET polyester plastic and heat activated thermal adhesive on both flaps.
TIPS: Industry standard specification for 5 mil laminating pouches is 5 mils on each flap for a total of 10 mils added to your paper sheet. Also, 1 mil equals 1/1000th of an inch (or 25 microns metric). The industry calls these laminating pouches when they are sealed on only one edge instead of three. They should be called laminating folders.

These pouches are a perfect replacement at a much better price than a local depot of office supplies brand. Using generic print-your-own business cards, these are nearly a perfect fit with minimal extra around the edges. They are still just a hair too big for my wallet, but they will fit with a little bit of trimming. So far, they have been very durable.

We have membership cards and they are a little flimsy, so we thought why not laminate them. These were a great price and will be good for more then one year. They work in any hot laminating machine. They look good too. They work with any business size cards.I bought these at full retail price without any kind of discount. I have purchased pouches from this seller/mfg before Jan 2017. They have been just fine. This most recent purchase has a smaller version of the pouches. In fact, when compared to the previous version these are substantially smaller. The problem is the will not seal a standard business card properly in some cases. Be aware of this prior to purchase, make sure your size matches with this size in order that you get a proper seal.

I am teacher at a school and we give students ID's at our site. We have other sleeved for their ID's and they are not as strong as this. I am glad I bought the 500 pack. My recommendation, make sure you have a "newer" laminating machine. Did not work well with an old one we had (and we had to get rid off). It works perfectly with the new one! We all Love it!

A business card doesn't fit

I ordered these specially to laminate CPR cards for my students, and the cards are the same size as a business card. The card fit in just fine, but there wasn't enough "lip" left at the bottom to laminate it shut. If the seam that comes on this product already together were a little thinner, the bottom would have room to close.

I saw in the reviews that people were saying these laminating pouches are small so I made sure to read the product description and measure the dimensions of my cards. After I received the card, I now see that the product description is incorrect and has rendered my laminating sleeves useless. I would not recommmend.
