This novel is well paced, the characters are very likable, and the romance is sweet. This first book by this young author impresses me. She has a great future ahead of her writing Young Adult stories.
Quantum was a terrific read that I loved from the first chapter because the heroine was bright enough to keep plotting along, no matter what happened in her life once it changed to a more dangerous one. It is great to read about young women being as clever or maybe even more - than male counterparts.
Clara's dogged determination is incentive for all women to never give up, and when different situations come your way, work through them as best you can.
I also enjoyed the nice romance between Clara and Ross, and am now hooked on this series.
The rest of the book follows the couple through their new life in the CIA and all the changes they must endure. Their relationship is cute and innocent and kept me smiling the whole time as well as turning the pages.
I'm a big YA fan and if you just immerse yourself in the story, it is a very enjoyable read for younger teen audiences.
Clara was this smart, young and determined young girl who is thrown into the CIA world. I loved the adventures her story took me on. I loved watching her lead her group and I broke when she struggled with her new life, and I could not turn the pages fast enough to see what was going to happen.
Ross, I adored him, and I could see the way he adored Clara. These two had the cutest romance, and I am still holding out to see where their story takes them because I am still not ready to give up on them.
This book is full of great characters and the story is addicting. This book is a must read for every age. I highly recommend this book to read. You will not be disappointed!
