Chris's real-life experiences via his book will give you insight into what self-worth means to us all, for the truth (as Chris so eloquently shows us,) is that without self-worth, a person is like a walk upon the beach only without the ocean's waves.
As an advocate for non-violence, I believe that there is without a DOUBT a direct connection to the way human beings view their self-worth as it relates to their interpersonal everyday life experiences. As we see by way of Chris's own life experiences with the personalities that he has come into contact with, EVERYBODY'S self-worth plays a starring role in how it affects another's life. For example, take the bullying personality...the bully has a low self-worth and in order to lift this worth up within the bully's mind, there is the need to bring another down. Of course this affects the other person's life in a very negative manner, more often than not causing a sad chain to be forged link by link until it's finally broken by yes...Chris's idea of an important trait.
I read this book in bed in one night because firstly, WOW! this was my friend Chris's book! and secondly, due to Chris's, "Take my hand and walk with me through my life as we talk it over" writing style, the magnetic force of his story was simply too strong for me to resist. When I came to the last chapter, I found myself hesitating to read its end, because then the story would be over, but then I smiled as I realized my mistake.
If you wish to understand what the power of self-worth can do for you and your own personal life, I suggest you read Chris's book and let it seep into your mind.
If you wish to help others understand this awesome power, after you read it, give it to someone you love. I did.
