There was a problem filtering reviews right now. Please try again later.
Was it super complex and deep? No, not really. But it was adorable and fun and so ridiculously heartwarming.
The characters were precious. I fell in love with all of them, but especially Trevor and Matt. And their friends. And Matt's family. They were all so great! I seriously just wanted to wrap them all up in hugs and cuddles.
The plot was fairly simple, but still interesting. There was just enough angst/drama to keep things interesting, but not so much that the whole book was drowning in it. It was a good balance.
I could give a whole rundown now on the plot and characters and whatnot . . . but you can get that from the book's summary and other reviews so I won't. Instead I'll just say this: sometimes you read a book and you love it because it's deep and thought provoking and intense. And then other times you read a book and you love it because it just makes you feel *good*, pure and simple. The Quarterback is the second kind of book. It was sweet and it warmed my heart and reading it made me happy. Money well spent, in my opinion.
