A lot of this book is stating the obvious, things you would learn just by opening Query Store and experimenting. But I picked up a few things about important trace flags and community tools. Also it was a good reminder of the plan comparison part of Query Store. It is more of a reference book. For example, it lists the meaning of every column of Query Store DMVs.
