I’m so disappointed. I’ve been eating these for a few months, thought they were okay in flavor for being keto friendly. I noticed that I was having gastrointestinal issues but wasn’t sure what they were coming from. Upon closer examination of the ingredients I noticed soluble corn fiber. Sounds harmless, right? It isn’t! It’s also known as Maltodextrin, a bad sugar substitute that I’d never eat on purpose. It should be illegal for companies to use innocent sounding names for bad ingredients. And beware if you are keto! Soluble corn fiber can kick you out of ketosis and make you gain weight. Even with a lower score on the glycemic index than some sweeteners, it’s still a carbohydrate with zero nutritional value, and it will increase your blood sugar. That’s a definite recipe for fat storage. And it’s not really a fiber so when it’s subtracted from the gross carbs of this cookie, it makes the net carbs look a LOT lower than they actually are. Fiber won’t spike blood sugar. SCF will. It seems terribly unethical for companies to promote food items as keto when they are not, and try to confuse consumers about their items containing Maltodextrin. Well, anything for a buck, right?

Well, I intended on taking a picture of the cookie for a review, but I ate that thing like a mom sneaking a cookie in the pantry while her toddler asks "what are you doing Mommy??" The texture was a lot like those soft-baked cookies in the red pkg (do they even still make those?) & It did not crumble or make a mess when I bit into it. It wasn't quite as sweet as those soft-baked cookies, either, but it is a very close comparison for me. I couldn't believe how good it was! And I still eat full sugar treats! I find reviews can be skewed as some people haven't had sugar or carbs or whatever for like 9 months then they review a cookie. I would totally recommend these & am going to order the chocolate chocolate chip ones right now.

Two stars only because the size of the cookie. It's a generously sized cookie, that's for sure. But it tastes like dirt! There is almost no sweetness to this. It's actually bitter tasting. I have to warm it up AND put peanut butter on it just to stomach it, and I eat freakin everything. Is it keto? Yes. Does it completely ruin your appetite for the rest of the day? Yes. I guess maybe that's a good thing? Steer clear if you're looking for something that tastes good. If you just want a well-portioned snack that is "keto", go for it. Or just munch on some grass. That would work too and would have more flavor.

Previously, I have stated that I love these cookies, and I still do! I had no problem with the regular cookies. When I opened the double fudge cookies, I noticed that 4 out of my 12 cookies had some weird white matter on the outer layer of the cookie. These cookies are expensive and I had to throw them away due to a concern of bacteria, fungi, mold, or any organism that can grow on these cookies. I logged back into my Amazon account to change my initial rating of 5 stars to 2 stars because of this alarming amount of white matter on my cookies and the lack of quality control. The quality should be checked before packing or the “Best Buy” date should accurately reflect when the cookie can be eaten. My cookies were purchased purchased sometime around September of 2018 and the “Best Buy” label of my cookies was March of 2019. I think that the company should be more proactive about this product to prevent losing more customers.

Counts NET Carbs vs ACTUAL Carbs...which is 4g vs 19g...huge difference! That's plain not right. I don't know that I'd mind all that much if they tasted OK, but the Erythritol they use to sweeten it leaves a godawful aftertaste. I definitely do not recommend.

Where to begin, this cookie changed my life. I've been a low-carb eater years and definitely helps with that sweet tooth craving on the go or at home. The macros are great for the goals I'm trying to hit. Unfortunately, other protein cookies on the market just don't deliver in taste, marcos or texture. In my opinion, the Quest cookies hit all 3! Out of 4 flavors available, this is probably my 3rd favorite simply based on preference. Regardless, I'd have any of the cookies to fulfill my protein/low-carb needs while enjoying what feels like a cheat meal. Thank you Quest!

This is the worst Quest brand cookie I have bought. That being said it is still pretty good. With all Quest brand cookies you can either microwave or not microwave. This is DEFINITELY a microwave one. They are very sketchy in the microwave so only heat for 5 seconds at a time. They likely dont need more than 10-15 seconds (which sounds like a tiny amount of time but trust me).

When heated they have a similar to brownie flavor and little pockets of melted chocolate.

When room temp they are off-tasting. Something isnt right.

If this is your first introduction to quest brand cookies get the chocolate chip one and dont microwave it. It is INCREDIBLE. Lol. And they fill you up quite well.

I use these on my fasting style keto diet as a cheat. I try to go a week without eating and I'll eat one of these on days I give up and they tend to do the trick.

However I am really disappointed in Quest and the distributor, the latest order is 20% smaller per cookie but they cost the same amount. They were already really expensive but I won't pay the same for less product. Unfortunately, this was my last order.
