Will get flagged and taken down but this product literally tastes like open ass. Apple protein? This tastes like dragging your tongue across the floor of a dirty bathroom. And then picking up something chewy to boot. I've had every imaginable protein bar GNC sells but this is by far the worst. It doesn't even come close to tasting like apple cinnamon, taste like gasoline. Don't buy this

No garbage Maltitol but natural Erythritol

Great variety of flavors in the only bar on the market that uses erythritol instead of maltitol as an alternative sweeter. Flavors range a lot, so try a variety pack. My favorite are Apple Pie, White Chocolate Raspberry, Birthday Cake, Oatmeal Cookie. Least favorite are Cookies and Cream, Cinnamon Roll, Chocolate Peanut butter (try Peanut butter brownie smash instead), and Strawberry Cheesecake. Others are in the middle.

Today I am half way through my third box of apple pie Quest bars. in my first 2 boxes I had no issues. the apple pie was the best tasting that I could find in the array of flavors. Today like yesterday I found would looks to be a piece of wood in my protein bar. while I know that wood fillers are used in almost everything processed that we eat didn't think I would be finding a piece of wood in the protein bar. Thanks for the fiber but I prefer the fiber to not be of the wood chucks variety. I have attached some photos and I will be returning my unopened box. I don't know what Amazon will do about the half box that I still have.

I've been eating these for about 3 years now, and I have to say I love them. Unless the nutrition label is a total lie, they don't seem to be too bad for you. Lots of fiber and a good hit of protein. The apple pie flavor is my favorite. Good stuff.

Update 2/16- These use to be the best protein bars out there. My wife and I ate them daily post workout. Now, they have changed their recipe and it literally is inedible. Their is a chemical taste and an aftertaste that cannot be described as food like. Seems like what you would taste after spraying 409 in your mouth. That disgusting.

I called Quest Nutrition. The rep I got seemed liked he was getting these calls all day long, but played it off as a "better" change and that just consumers need to get used to the new fiber ingredient. I won't get used to gross ingredients. I can't believe they ruined this wonderful food supplement. I hope they loose lots of sales and go back to making them the old way. Yuck.

These Bars are disgusting. Anyone who thinks these taste good have never eaten a Redcon1 MRE bar. Quest nutrition wise is good but the taste is something I never want to taste again.

I order these quite often because I eat a bar each day. I have tried many flavors, but I always come back to apple pie as my favorite. They are so soft and chewy with little apple bits in each bite. I love the amount of protein I get with each bar (20 grams) and the fact that there is virtually no sugar in it. Heat these in the microwave (without the package, obviously) for 15 seconds and you will know bliss.

The picture on the wrapper made it look like apple pie. The texture is that of a pencil eraser. The apples??.. If you look closely you see specks of a darker color that I assume are the succulent pieces of apple advertised. I’ve been giving them to my dog to chew on instead of raw hide.

I really like Quest bars. They fill me up after exercise, can be easily combined with other foods and have great nutritional content. my only grumble is that they seem to have moved away from bars that tast e like nuts or fruits towards, sweeter, more chocolate based varieties. If i want chocolate I eat that. I prefer the flavours like this one, the vanilla almond and the berry one (which I don't think you can get anymore).
