In the AR game after you open all the boxes there's a place to "buy" add. items with coins, it says you can earn them by walking. But what I want to know is can you use the coins you get for joining the Nintendo club too? I registered with that, and received 160 coins for filling out a survey, but are those coins only for use on the Nintendo site, or can you put them on your system and use them there?

If so, how???????

The Nintendo Club coins are only for the Nintendo Club rewards. They have nothing to do with the 3DS activity coins.

you must "walk" 100 steps to get one coin, you can only get 10 per day and a total of 300. these are different from the club points and can be use with different games like mii plaza to buy a hero. if you got your first coin then you should have a notifications from nintendo telling you about them

Finally figured it out last night. I also found out you can just cheat and gently shake the system to get the 100 steps you need per coin. ^_^

What, are you that lazy that you can't walk?

When I first got the poke-walker from the last pokemon games, I strapped it up to a spare motor I had to accumulate steps...

Somehow, I think that would be a bad idea with this.

Trist says:
Seriously? It's either my legs or arms, either way something's getting moved, but what difference does it make to you?
Go play your console and let me worry about my level of laziness okay.

I earned 40 play coins by walking alot this week. :)

I just tried the shake thing it work's! & also another way to earn play coin's by cheating is to turn on the 3ds close it & ride in the car to some where & it'll add up play coins too.

I actually don't mind the walking though. I like excerising a little bit. :)

Happy Gaming! (^_^)

darkness says:
if your walking though, you have a better chance at getting people who also are using it which nets a street pas if your using it

Is it possible to get people on the streetpass if you carry the 3DS in a case?

I left it at home today and I'm going grocery shopping too :/

The 3DS AR Games are pretty cheap. One day of walk and you can afford all of them

You need to pass all of the first games, then a shop opens up to buy the additional games.

I have one question, it's suppose to be 10 coins per day max of 300. that means i can't have more than 300 at time, or for example if i have 295 and spend 10 coins I could not expect to get more than 290 in the rest of my life (300 max - 10 spent= 290 new limit) :s i'm confussed

Posted on Apr 7, 2011, 6:28:37 PM PDT
Mark Twain says:
No, 300 is just the max number, if you have 290, then you can walk 1000 steps the next day and get 300 back. You just can't exceed 300 coins at any point at one time.
