"This guide can help disabled people (and their partners) on their journey toward self-love, better communication, and confidence." –– Alice Wong, Founder and Director, Disability Visibility Project
All different kinds of bods want to connect with other bods, but lots of them get left out of the conversation when it comes to S-E-X. As explained by disabled cartoonist A. Andrews, this easy-to-read guide covers the basics of disability sexuality, common myths about disabled bodies, communication tips, and practical suggestions for having the best sexual experience possible. Whether you yourself are disabled, you love someone who is, or you just want to know more, consider this your handy starter kit to understanding disability sexuality, and your path to achieving accessible (and fulfilling) sex.

What we didn't expect was the immense gap in knowledge on the procedure's failure and any subsequent treatment. When my procedure did not alleviate my pain, the surgeon was stumped because it should have and he'd only had one other patient in all his years have any issues. Especially at my age. Especially when they did the surgery. Especially, especially, especially...
What I didn't expect or even realize was the astronomical gap in sex education for Disabled people! We make up roughly 20% of the global population and yet studies and research on Disabled people and sex are still very, very new and sparse. In the US, 1 in 4 adults is disabled. But yet we have little to guide us when it comes to sex.
This book is an excellent place to start! I found it's review of types of bodies, environment aids, importance of safe sex and pleasurable sex, and diversity of illustrations of Disabled people quite fantastic! I immediately bought more copies for close friends. Everyone should read this book, and I would strongly recommend owning it as well.
However a HUGE disappointment for me is that the type is very small and thin which made me have to strain my eyes and use my magnifying glass just to read it. That seems like a pretty big oversight for a book about/for Disabled folx. I didn't find a large print option either.
I agree with the comment on the front cover: This should be required reading for everyone!
I strongly recommended this!
