Very entertaining. I think this is a fun book to read and share with 'like-minded' others. I must respectfully submit, however, that for some individuals, this is 'the real thing'...'the official cookbook'. To that I say..."to each their own"...! I enjoy reading the book and most certainly recommend it. Keeping in mind (for most folks) that this book is "for entertainment" rather than an alternative for their Mom's "betty crocker - kitchen cookbook".

WTF is the Buck Peterson on? He's is of the funniest guys I've every read.
When I was seaching for some new recipes for my lamb testicles, long and behold what pops up on the web? Quick Fix Cooking with Roadkill. I didn't realize Buck had another book out. So I bought the book and made a great dish for my sweetie. She just loves the testicles.

This book is one of the funnist and most helpful. Not since The Roadkill U.S.A. Coloring & Activity Book and Endangered Species Cookbook has Buck left me in stitches. With recipes like Pavement Panini and Giddyup Eat-It-Up Steak you are bound the make any woman fall in love with with tasty recipes. Trust me! I'm on my eighth wife.

So if you are looking for a great gift for the special uncle or the crazy brother who loves shooting animals, this is the book for them or for yourself, if you are looking spice up your love life with these wonderful meals, buy this book you won't be sorry maybe just hungry.
Oh yea! if you do buy this book don't forget to try Tex-Mess Taco and Boulevard Burrito just yummy!

If you are looking for the "normal" cookbook this one is not for you. However if you want a cookbook that is fun to read and has great simple recipes this one is the right purchase. Grocery store bought meat and foul will easily substitute for roadkill. Buck has written several other books and none of them are politically correct. Probably this is why I have purchased many of his books to give to my friends as gifts. This book like the rest of Buck's books is a real winner and will get you chuckling.

Retired early last night and decided to peek into Buck's new book with hopes that after a few paragraphs I would drift off to sleep. No such luck. I roared with laughter straight through the entire book, page by page. He actually has some really great recipes, too! Rollicking good time.

In these days of uncertainty and lack of humor, this book was a pleasure to read and chuckle at. I think "Buck" should be applauded for his tongue in cheek look at an otherwise mundane and driving hazard occurrence. I am not a hunter, but have read several other books that "Buck" has written and also found them very Humorous. It's evident that he has spent a lot of time in the woods and fields, plus must have somewhat of a culinary back ground. I Look forward to his next writing endeavor! Keep up the good work "BUCK".

Buck Peterson is a master of subtle humor. Although the recipes appear to be a put-on, the reader is left with the nagging feeling that Buck may actually be field-testing his creations. Having read all of Buck's books, I think this is the best to date.

If you have an off-beat sense of humor (as we do) you will love this "cook book." Also makes a nice gift for others with such a sense of humor!
