From the Publisher
The most glowing comments we've received from early purchasers of this book have come from readers (1) who were very new to QuickBooks, or (2) who had used QuickBooks for even a couple of years, but without ever feeling they were able to really "put QuickBooks to work" in reaching their farm accounting and management information goals. Some readers have even commented that this is now their main QuickBooks manual...now they hardly ever refer to the User's Guide that came with QuickBooks!
From the Author
This book's "reason for being" is that years of doing technical support for our company's QuickBooks farm accounting add-on software revealed that most users' questions and problems weren't with our software per se, but with how to setup and use QuickBooks in a farm business. Our technical support logs provided the nucleus of questions answered and topics addressed by this book. I writing this book I have enjoyed trying to anticipate and answer as many of the reader's basic farm accounting-related QuickBooks questions as possible.
