Daniel's Fire: My overall thoughts on this one? I couldn't put it down & I didn'twant it to end. This will definitely be a re-read that stays on my shelf for the long haul. ★★★★★
Robert's Soul: Radcliffe somehow seamlessly merges sass with eloquence in herstorytelling. The story is intrinsically artistic while remainingentertaining and exciting. The heat simmering below the surfacethroughout this novel erupts at the end, causing an epically unexpectedending to this brilliant tale. Radcliffe combines the difficultiescaused by our individual pasts with all the possibilities of the futureto create an unforgettable tale of love & acceptance.
Thisis an intelligent story, written for adults by adults. And thecharacters are grownups too. They talk and (usually) act likeintelligent, educated individuals. Rob is developed perfectly to a T.He is absolutely priceless. You can't help but love him, even if he isthe world's biggest dork at times. Radcliffe really makes hercharacters' body language come to life. You get to know them so well by the way they silently read each other.
This may just be myfavourite Quidell story yet. Radcliffe tells a story that is emotionalyet exciting, hot yet sassy. It's the best of all worlds. -- ★★★★★
