QUIK-CURE 5 min. epoxy cures to a slightly flexible consistency. This lack of brittleness allows it to form a lasting bond in areas subjected to high vibration or stress. QUIK-CURE shouldnt be used in areas that are subject to long-term immersion in water; however, it works fine for the internal structure of wood framed boats. QUIKCURE is our only epoxy on which you can apply polyester resins. It can be mixed with microballoons to form a quick setting putty. Items bonded with QUIK-CURE can be handled after 15 minutes. Full strength is reached in 1 hour.

With the two separate bottles, I can get as much or as little product as I want and in equal amounts. Plus, at 9 ounces total, compared to the syringes, it works out to $2.90 per ounce instead of $5.00 per ounce. Seems like a no brainer to me.

The only question is, does it work? I have used it extensively since purchasing the product and it holds every bit as well as any other epoxy I have ever used.
I have to warn - when it says Quick it means QUICK!!! Three minutes tops. I did not "snip" off the top, I used a small nail to puncture into the middle of the nozzle. That way I can dispense small amounts. Have your ducks in a row and ready to go before mixing and applying. Three minutes really is a long time if you are prepared before-hand.
Your working time is less than the stated five minutes, even though it doesn't fully harden for awhile. It will cease to be workable at the 3-4 minute point, so make sure your preparations are all set before you mix.
No more messy syringe type tubes that mix as it dispenses rendering the unit useless after it hardens. Definitely not an issue with this, since the tubes are separate.
The boxes you get from Amazon are a good choice to use for mixing this glue. Rip off a piece and mix thoroughly and apply to virtually anything. The box doesn't absorb too much. You cold also use a piece of junk mail. That would come in handy for this too.
I recently used the Bob Smith epoxy on a project. The separate bottles were easy to open, easy to use and made mixing equal quantities a breeze.
Note that this is quick-set epoxy and the working time was around 5 minutes--which was fine for my application. You need to prepare your work, mix the binary compounds and use the mixture immediately.
I am not as concerned about leakage with the plastic vials (which store upright). However, to avoid any problems, I saved the plugs that fit underneath the caps. One word of advice--the seals are both red--they are not color coded--so be careful not to swap them when you re-seal the bottles.
