This would be a great icebreaker at a guild meeting--even for large guilds. The moderator could ask the question and then ask people to chat with the person behind them or in front of them. This would get members talking to people they don't know --for a welcome change. ( Too many guild meetings are just cliques meeting and new members end up feeling isolated with no one to talk with.). Moderator could then ask for a few people to volunteer their answers after letting people talk in their small pairs or groups for 2 or 3 minutes. Great way to get an energizer into a meeting.
In addition to being a valuable tool for self-reflection, the book is also perfect for sparking rich discussions at quilting gatherings. It's also valuable in introducing readers to quilting resources they may be unfamiliar with, including museums, tools, techniques, innovative quilters, instructional opportunities, and crowdfunding possibilities for creative projects. Highly recommended!
