I have been a lover of jigsaws for fifty years. Every year for Christmas, growing up, my mom would set up a new jigsaw at the dining room table after our Christmas dinner, and the family would work on it until the puzzle was completed--usually before New Year's Eve. I've worked puzzles I loved, and puzzles I hated. I've even worked puzzles that taught me to curse.
This puzzle was my choice for this year's holiday puzzle, and it was a joy to put together right from the beginning. I don't know why, and I can't explain how this puzzle is different from others, but for some reason, I found it to be more enjoyable to work on than others. It's not TOO difficult, but it's still a challenge.
And to add to the mix, when I finished the puzzle, I was missing one piece. I looked all around the room, and could not find the missing piece, so I have to assume that either the cat batted it around until it fell down a floor vent, or it was missing from the box. In either case, though, I wrote an email to the company, and was almost immediately told they would send out a replacement piece for me. Any company that stands behind their product like this has got me for a customer.
So now, I've got my Amazon wish list filled with their puzzles. Which one to do next?????
