About this item

  • The sensitivity of Q15001 has been extended in both directions and is higher and wider. It reaches 5mV/div -- 20V/div. Also, this updated version can be handheld.
  • Display and MCU are mounted on the same board (mainboard) to avoid using inter-board pin-headers. Analog channel is placed on a separated board which contains most user install parts, so the analog and digital circuits can be better separated.
  • It has been added the rotary encoder, makes parameter adjustment more quicker and easier
  • Quimat Q15001 oscilloscope is an Assembled finished Machine. NOT DIY PART, it can be used directly to avoid assembling welding process problems and greatly saves the assembly time.
  • Detailed Operation instructions, troubleshooting guide and schematic are also provided

5.0 out of 5 stars the tester with many perks
Reviewed in the United States on April 28, 2018
surface mount components not installed so be sure you line up the dot for them . and yes, it is VERY small. be sure you study up on how to work with tiny components like this. (you can look up my other review about the same device and how the components are supposed to line up with a picture)
this was a very enjoyable project to build and even if you are not concerned if its exactly accurate, you will find it very nice to graphically display pinouts on transistors when they dont follow the same specs for identical numbered packages. being able to run this from battery or plugin jack is a very nice option (notice my header pins in place of the 9V connection, where i have to 9V as a plugin when needed. )
building it is easy, even if there are no included manuals all values are marked on the board.
for info on this device search "mikrocontroller" and model type. you will find schematics and information if you do a little research while its on its way to you. (this portion was edited from original posted review to remove URL, since im not allowed to help people find the original designer of this but the exact URL is burned into the device when doing a self test)
to those that dont know how to find the menu, you spin the encoder knob.
all needed software is already flashed on the chip.
the pictures show a freq generator, PWM generator, and a tested transistor, the device can also test voltage, and an external frequency measurement. i use it to determine BCE of trans packages and general ranges on passive components.
i actually used this to assist in assembling another identical tester.
[initial review was denied by amazon for having a URL i guess, my edits and updates are another attempt to say "i really like this in my toolbox" so now you get pictures too] [is this better amazon mods?]

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice DIY Transistor Tester Kit
Reviewed in the United States on June 20, 2017
Quimat Multifunctional Transistor Tester with LCD came nicely packed without any damage. This is a DIY kit., Where it comes with the PCB board and all the components that require assembling. PCB is made of quality materials and has labeling for all of the parts. Resistors come without any labels. So you need to look up the color code or need to use a multimeter to check the value. Once assembled this can be used as a voltmeter, frequency meter, signal generator and a device that measures all kinds of component parameters.
