Spray it, don't squeeze it. Stem is designed to allow a cook to spray juice directly from a citrus fruit. No longer do you have to cut and squeeze your fruit to get the juice out like a common cook. With only one finger you can now spray citrus juice on your favorite foods evenly. Let stem add a little zest in your kitchen and on your food.

Update Mar 2013: I have a couple of tips to help get more juice out of a lemon. Rolling the lemon around on the counter and warming it up to room temperature will help get more juice out of it.
To my amazement, it actually works, and not only works but works well. It's seemingly well made (as well made as cheap plastic can be.) and it takes little effort to secure to a piece of citrus.
It takes a few pumps to get the squirt action going, but once it does, the spritz is great.
My only gripes are that it could be made out of better material (but for five bucks, what do you expect?) and the spray isn't full and completely atomized sometimes (the first few sprays might be big drops) but really, who cares?
Great product, totally amazed that it works, would definitely recommend it for anyone.
Use on lemons for fish, avocado, hollandaise. Use limes for potato chips, fritos, tortilla chips, salsa. Use on oranges for things which might require orange flavor... You know.
So I gave another try with a new lemon to experiment a different method, first poked it, then after juice ran out, I squeezed the lemon like massaging it to bring more juice inside. It worked a bit, but the downside of this method is the sprayer and flesh around it gets loose from the massage, it will cause a leak eventually.
So I figured there is no way around I can get juice out of lemon without getting messy, I put the sprayer away, then still stuck with the old way...cut lemons in half, squeeze them, gather juice in a small spray bottle, then spray it...
I would call it a mister rather than a juicer - you aren't going to be making a cup of lemonade with what comes out of this, but it is nice for misting salads, fish, and other things with juice.
No preservatives added. ;-)
