This was an okay book.
I didn't find it that interesting and it could be either because of the content or that the translation is not good enough.
The thing with Mao and other Chinese known figures is that English translators do no justice because a lot of the stuff is either skewed or makes no sense.
You can actually watch his documentary and you will find most of the stuff is really skewed, basically to most people in the west he was a dictator.

This version is much better on the hand and is very small and portable, so I absolutely recommend this one if you want something that is both compact and authentic, as this one was printed in Hong Kong and the other one here in the U.S., with bigger letters.

The Chinese quotations seem to be printed well, but the English translations seem, as if they were printed by several different machines and printers and then made into a book. If you don't speak English well, then look for another version with better printings.
