From New York Time’s bestselling author R.L. Mathewson comes the next installment in the disturbingly funny romantic comedy series, Neighbor from Hell.
It was time to move on.
Granted, Cayley would have preferred to wait until after Christmas, but with her best friend somehow managing to get her fired and evicted in the same day, she had no choice but to move into the apartment across from the man that really didn’t seem happy to see her.
That was fine.
More than fine because if she could handle her best friend making her life a living hell and an ex-fiancé that was determined to get her back, then she could handle the man that was willing to do whatever it took to let the past destroy them both.
He couldn’t believe this was happening again.
For years, Bryce had been going out of his way to avoid Cayley, hoping that she would finally move on, but now that she was back, he realized that he no longer had a choice.
He was going to have to break her heart.
At least that was the plan until the little brat turned the tables on him, making him wonder how much longer he was going to be able to lie to himself even as one thing became painfully clear…
This was going to be the worst Christmas ever.
From New York Time’s bestselling author R.L. Mathewson comes the prequel to the disturbingly funny romantic comedy series, Neighbor from Hell.
She couldn’t do this anymore.
After watching her best friend and the man that she’d been in love with her entire life propose to another woman, Morgan decided that it was time to finally move on. She made plans, plans that Eric didn’t know about and she planned to keep it that way, but unfortunately for her, one bet destroyed everything, leaving her with no choice but to be there for her best friend one last time.
He was done.
After catching his fiancée cheating on him, Eric Bradford was done wasting his time on women that he had absolutely no hope of falling in love with. He just needed time, a chance to get away, and he just needed…
Determined to figure out how he kept screwing up his life, Eric takes his best friend on the honeymoon that he’d spent a fortune on and asked her for one more favor, one that would change everything, and leave him with no choice but to do whatever it takes to stop the one woman that meant everything to him from finally walking away.
Haley Blaine was done with being the world’s biggest pushover and it was all thanks to the incredibly handsome man living next-door determined to make her life a living hell. After he’d finally pushed her too far, Haley decided to take matters into her own hands, and now…
She was terrified of falling for the one man that was guaranteed to break her heart. The last thing that Jason expected was for his incredibly shy neighbor to lose her goddamn mind and attack him with a hose, but now that she had, he couldn’t help but notice just how well she fit into his life. He liked having her around, loved the way that she felt in his arms and-
He was about to lose his goddamn mind.
She could do so much better than him…
Which meant that it was time to show her that this was anything but a game before it was too late.
Welcome to the Neighbor from Hell series.
The one person that you can’t live without.
She should probably mention that she had no idea what she was doing, but since that would probably result in her new boss, Devyn MacGregor, CEO of Carta Hotels and the incredibly handsome man that didn’t look like he knew how to smile, firing her, Andi Dawson decided that it would be in her best interest to keep that fact to herself. After years of doing a job that had slowly destroyed her will to live, she needed a change, something different, something that gave her a clue about what she was supposed to do with her life, but more importantly, she needed to figure out how she was supposed to keep a secret that could destroy the only thing that mattered to her.
Just. One. More. Time.
Devyn was so close to having everything that he’d ever wanted when everything suddenly went to hell. He should have seen this coming, should have stayed focused, and he really should stop thinking about the small woman that he should probably fire. He had four months to fix this and he had no idea how he was going to do it, but he knew that he was about to make the biggest mistake of his life.
Elizabeth knows what’s expected of her, perfection. She’s the daughter of an Earl and expected to marry well, say and do the right things with a smile on her face when inside she’s dying for a chance to escape. Thanks to an inheritance her godmother left her years ago, her chance will come with her next birthday. Her hopes of escape abruptly end when Robert, her childhood nemesis that she hasn’t seen since they were children, comes back into her life and does everything within his power to make her pay for their past.
He hated her.
At least, Robert tried to hate her, but it was so damn difficult to hate someone that he couldn’t live without. He tried to ignore her, tried to focus on anything but her, but nothing worked. Somehow, she made her way into his heart and started to make him want things that he never thought possible, made him smile and laugh even while she drove him out of his mind and started a legacy by turning him into… A Bradford.
Necie Dixon was used to a lot of things by now, tripping over her own two feet, setting a record for insurance claims for all those unfortunate incidents that she was really hoping would stop happening, but she could never get used to the way that Duncan made her feel…or just how much he hated her.
She wanted more.
She wanted him.
But that was never going to happen, not when he only saw her as the little jinx next door, and no matter what she told herself, one mistake would never be enough to change that.
Something had to give.
Duncan wasn’t sure how much more he could take. Between work and helping his family, he was exhausted and needed a break. He needed something more in his life, and he sure as hell needed a break from the little jinx next door that was driving him out of his mind.
He’d never expected to find himself drawn to her.
Never thought that he wouldn’t be able to stop thinking about her. And he sure as hell never thought that he would feel like his world was falling apart when he almost lost her.
There’s nothing worse than living next door to your childhood nemesis, except maybe being forced to share your dream project with him, being blackmailed into going along with something that was just wrong on so many levels, and having your hot cocoa stolen by the person that drove you to drink it in the first place, Rory James decided.
Then again, so was finding out that you were wrong.
Connor O’Neil will do anything to get what he wants and right now, he wants to get his hands on the one thing that would make all his dreams come true and he wasn’t about to let little Rory James get in the way of that even if she was the one thing that he couldn’t live without.
His only hope was that she never found out the truth.
There weren’t many things that Aidan regretted, but that night he’d spent with the woman that he couldn’t stop thinking about was definitely one of them. He’d always been careful, always did the right thing, and now…
Now, he had to figure out a way to fix this before it was too late.
Melanie still couldn’t figure out how one night could change the rest of her life. She should have done a lot of things differently that night. She should have turned him down, should have spent the rest of the night wallowing in self-pity like she’d planned, but that’s not what happened and now, she needed to figure out how she was going to survive this pregnancy with a Bradford doing everything in his power to make her fall in love with him.
Sometimes life doesn’t go the way that we expected.
Determined to be there for his children, Devin put his life on hold, putting his children first even if that meant telling himself that he couldn’t have the only woman that he’d ever wanted, only to feel the last thread of his control snap when she did the one thing that he never saw coming.
She fell in love with his children.
After years of putting off taking the next step, Charlie was finally ready, mostly because her best friend threatened to make her life a living hell if she didn’t. Knowing that she couldn’t keep putting this off any longer, Charlie somehow finds herself moving into the in-law apartment of the man that seemed to go out of his way to avoid her and found herself wondering if she was chasing the wrong dream after all.
There were just some things that Reed Bradford never thought that he would do, and falling in love with his best friend’s sister was one of them in this romantic comedy from New York Times bestselling author R.L Mathewson.
He never should have made that promise.
He’d barely survived Joey Lawson the first time around, but now, his best friend’s little sister, his one-time neighbor, and the woman that he never should have promised to protect was back.
Reed never should have done a lot of things, like cross that line, but once he did…
There was no turning back.
Joey always had a plan, but unfortunately, mostly for her, sometimes those plans backfired. This time would be no different. After the unfortunate incident that she felt was in her best interest not to think about, she found herself doing the one thing that she’d never survive.
Falling in love with a Bradford.
What happens when a Bradford with questionable OCD and a reputation for making his employees cry falls for the woman that refuses to accept the fact that he’s fired her?
Lucifer still wasn’t sure how she was doing it, but every single day without fail, Rebecca found a new way to drive him out of his damn mind. When he finally manages to do the one thing that he’s been dreaming about doing for years, she takes him by surprise and makes him realize that there was more to the woman that loved to drive him crazy than he thought.
He needed her.
Not that he would admit it, but Rebecca wasn’t going to let that stop her, which was why she just couldn’t let him fire her because, without her, he’d be lost.
It was for his own good.
It really was.
At least, that’s what Rebecca tells herself. It was probably wrong to torment the man that signed her paychecks, but she just couldn’t help herself. There was just something about the incredibly handsome man that loved to glare that made her want to see just how far she could push him.
He never should have said those words, but once they were out…
Trevor would have done anything to take them back, but the damage was already done. Hoping to make it up to Zoe, Trevor offers to help her, hoping that it would be enough. The last thing that he expected was to find himself thinking about her. Hoping to put an end to this hold that she had over him, he offers her something more, only...
It wasn’t enough.
Just once, Zoe wished that something in her life would go right, but that’s not usually how things went. At least, not for her. So, when her life suddenly takes an unexpected turn and the man who’d never looked at her twice offers to help her, she realizes that she has nothing left to lose.
Except for her heart.
