Elves: The Syyl (Legends of the Syyl Book 1)
Dec 28, 2012
$0.99
Darfon is a warden not an assassin. He has spent his life patrolling the endless forest, known as the Syyl, protecting the city from any threat that might emerge from the wild. He has climbed thousands of feet into the forest canopy and survived countless deadly challenges, but in all his rings of service, he has never faced anything like Tal-Ril.
The songs paint Tal-Ril as a villain of mythic proportions, who roams the city and the Syyl with his rune-sword in hand. The bards claim his black sword drinks the blood of his victims, gifting him with strength while seeding his mind with madness.
When Tal-Ril discovers a method to destroy the Syyl and end all life, the elders command Darfon to kill him. Darfon pleads with them to send someone more qualified—someone up to the task—but they refuse to listen. It must be him. As he scrambles to make preparations, the elders unexpectedly assign an untrained, naive girl named Xin’noa to assist him. Together they take up the hunt to stop Tal-Ril, rescue the Syyl, and save their people from extinction.
A high fantasy novelette that begins the Legends of the Syyl, an ongoing fantasy series.

The Geno Virus
Dec 28, 2012
$0.99
Millions are dead and the world is being swallowed by a virtual reality. Make no mistake, Dr. Albert Van de Graaf did not intend to cause the destruction of the world, nor did he plan on turning everyone on the planet into mindless slaves. It just turned out that way.
If you simply give him a chance to explain the events that led up to the creation of the Geno Virus, you will see he is not to blame. He is merely a victim of circumstance. If his boss had not put so much pressure on him, none of this would have ever happened.
A fast paced short story of science fiction.
