Well built, but not a speed machine. Does exactly what it should, but don't expect to rip through 500 rounds an hour. If you have a to of cropped commercial or mispec quality brass this tool does the trick. I've taken to using it on all once fired brass to get a very consistent primer pocket on all my reloading brass. Get's the job done at a great price and very simple, but precise operation, with great results. Handles the Lake City beautifully and gives me the quality and consistency I'm looking for.

Primarily use it to swage my Lake City 5.56 brass. Took some tweaking to get it right, but now I have practically 0% failure rate in loading primers into the brass. The only problem is that the arm is a bit short and takes considerable force to swage some pockets, but I used an old PVC pipe to add more leverage and clamped the swager in a large vice.

Despite multiple adjustments did not remove enough of the 223 crimp to allow adequate primer seating. It also is a tedious process. Just get an electric case prep machine and be done with it. Buy once, cry once.

it is ok, but not really worth the cost.
if you have military crimp brass, a bit of cutting is required to get primers to seat properly.
I did over 1K rounds of Lake City, 90% I had to take an additional step of deburring / opening up the bevel on the primer pocket to allow the primers to seat properly
I don't think it is worth the cost.

This is a LOT quicker than physical cutting out crimped pockets one by one with a reamer. Saves tons of time and is much more easy and uniform

Works well and does the job, just not as comfortable as the Dillon swager my buddy has.

Great tool for removal of all the military primer crimps. Makes case prep a speedy job. Best tool on my work bench. Recommend this for anyone wanting to reload 223/5.56 once-fired military brass.
