About the Author
Carey served in local church ministry as a Pastor, associate pastor, youth director, worship team member, small groups, coordinator... and much more for over 20 years. His experience has taught him one thing... a genuine and personal relationship with God is all that matters. In January of 2013 he retired from local church ministry to establish Christian Home and Family (http://www.ChristianHomeandFamily.com), a ministry dedicated to equipping you to build a legacy of faith in your family that can last for generations. Carey is an author, podcaster, entrepreneur, teacher, marriage & family coach, and Christian life coach. He's also husband of one, dad of 5, dad-in-law of 1 (so far), and Grand-pop to 1, with another grandchild on the way. You can find out more about Carey and the LORD's direction for his ministry in a few places on the internet: http://www.ChristianHomeandFamily.com http://www.CareyGreen.com http://www.DragonSlayerBook.com You can find out more about Carey's internet business ventures at: http://www.podcastfasttrack.com http://www.freeaudacitytutorials.com http://www.passthesafeexam.com Here's more of Carey's story, from his own mouth (sort of)... I grew up in a fairly small town in the panhandle area of Texas. I came to faith in Christ at the age of 5, the later part of 1972. I got married while in college, to the most wonderful woman in the world. I tell her all the time that she’s been God’s greatest, and seemingly favorite tool in my life. 10 random things about me * I’ve been known to yell at the TV screen. * I typically don’t like the “home team” no matter where I live. * I was once struck by lightning, indirectly. * I play the drums, bass guitar, and I-pod. * During high school, the bumper sticker on my car read, “If you love something, set it free. If it doesn’t come back, hunt it down and kill it.“ * I have learned more from my wife than from any other individual on the planet. * In grade school, I rushed home every afternoon to watch “Speed Racer.“ * At my funeral, I’d hate it if anyone said, “He had such potential…” * My wife says I make up words, often, in sermons. * If you want to see me get very angry, put a video game controller in my hand.

I love the layout of each "method." They follow a standard, well explained format with plenty of examples. I have literally been search for a book like this for more than a decade. I own an extensive library of "how-to" books that frustratingly never get past listing benefits or drawbacks and into actual application. This is not one of those books. The applications presented are so straight forward I became very excited about immediately implementing Mr. Greens suggestions and ideas.
The main reason I did not give this book a 5-Star rating was because the what Mr. Green "called-out" an author he did not agree with. I do not think it was the best way to handle theological/doctrinal disagreements. I believe this draws more attention to division and does not foster unity. However, this was present in less than a single page, so I did not let that cloud my impression of Mr. Green's authorship. Additionally, I noticed a few minor spelling and grammar errors, but as the author states, "that is being human." I highly recommend this book and plan to gift it to my family and friends.
