Or could you?
From the moment Tyler was six, she fell in love with that cocky eight-year-old boy with the black spiky hair, captivating blues eyes, and scruffy uniform. From the moment he punched a boy for hurting her, Tyler knew there was no going back. They were always meant to be together...
Always.
Then everything changed. The stage was set like a tragic Shakespearean play, and Tyler’s and Dean’s world—as they knew it—had ended.
Or had it?
Tyler
My name was Jessica now. I faked my own death, changed my identity, and moved thousands of miles across the ocean just to escape the one man I would never get out of my heart. I had a four-year-old son I adored more than anything in the world. On one fateful, horrific night, the life I knew disappeared in the blink of an eye. I left people behind. People I cared about. People I would never forget. People I loved.
But had I truly moved on?
No one said leaving behind the one man you had loved since you were six would be easy. I lived life day-to-day. I even met a man and tried to settle down. Evan was a man any woman would desire. So why could I not love him the way he obviously loved me? Why couldn’t I move past the dark-haired, blue-eyed boy who consumed my every thought? I may have left him, but he had never truly left me.
I could never love another man. Dean made sure of that the day he breezed into my life. I was only half a woman now. I had been broken and bruised by the one man I thought I could always love and trust. How could I let go of something like that? I suppose I just had to. I was just getting by with each day that passed. I was coping. I was managing, and that was keeping me from falling apart.
But then disaster struck again. And it was on that day…
Everything changed.
Dean
You can’t hide forever, Tyler. I will always be hunting you, always be searching, and will never give up. If there was ever one certainty in your life, it was that. You slipped through my fingers, not once but twice. You took my heart with you when you left me that day. No amount of alcohol, women, or punching bags would block you from my mind. You couldn’t be dead. I wouldn’t allow you to be dead. You’re out there somewhere. I must congratulate you that you had evaded me for this long. You always were a smart girl. How could I not have fallen in love with you? You did escape me this time, but I will find you, Tyler. I promise you that. And when that day comes…
I will finally make you MINE.

When Tyler faked her death, she knew Dean would never believe it and would keep looking for her. She's moved to another country and changed her name but can't move on even though she's met a really great guy. No one can make her feel like Dean does. Plus Tyler feels guilty for keeping the knowledge of their son Jeremy from his father. When Jeremy gets sick, Tyler freaks out and calls her parents rather than contacting them the way she normally does. She knows it will only be a matter of time before Dean locates her. She's not wrong.
Watching Dean grovel and try to convince Tyler to give him another chance was an emotional process. You could tell how sorry he genuinely was for the past and how very much he loves her. However you know that Tyler has good reason to be scared of him hurting her again and her hesitancy of giving him her trust was understandable. When Dean sees Jeremy for the first time he has no idea he has a son. One look at Jeremy's eyes and he knows. It's really touching and doesn't take more than Jeremy smiling up at Dean to have him wrapped around his little finger. The connection between Tyler and Dean is still as strong as ever and Dean vows never to give up and to prove to Tyler that he'll change for her and his son.
Their best friends, Tara and Jimmy are a great addition and have a side story that I enjoyed as well. Both of them are funny and add a bit of lightness to the story. Redemption isn't the dark book that Deviant was and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Overall, I loved it. It's told from dual POVs with a little bonus at the end from Jimmy. I'm so glad the author decided to extent this story into another book and allow us more time with these characters to get the ending that they deserve.
Redemption is about Dean righting his wrongs with the love of his life but she's gone into hiding. But a single phone call to her parents on a tapped line, Dean gets the break he needs and flies 4000 miles to find his heart.
Tyler has a new identity and a stable relationship with a man who loves her and her son but he can't have her heart. That still belongs to the one man who has time and time again hurt her. Once Tyler contacted her parents, she knew it be no time at all before Dean finds her. And he did. But things were tough. He hurt her in the worst ways an yet he still held her heart in his palms.
This ride for Dean and Tyler was rough and bumpy but it couldn't have ended any sweeter than it did. I finished both books in two days. I couldn't stop, I had to know how it ended. There were times I cried, times I laughed, times I wanted to be Tyler. Dean is as alpha as a man can be when it comes to his woman and that's what Tyler was. His.
Buy these books, love them as much as I did!! Make sure you read Deviant first or you'll be confused but you'll be so happy you did.
Jaimie...I tip my hat to you. I don't know how you did it but you did. I freaking love these books and you now have stalker for life in me. I won't be changing your toilet paper around or hiding in your room but I'll be on your Facebook page waiting for what's next.
Cheers and love
Redemption is the second book to Jaimie Roberts’ amazing Deviant series. I can’t imagine not having Redemption after Deviant. Jaimie WHAT WERE YOU THINKING??? Redemption picks up 4 years after Tyler left and started a new life with a new identity away from Dean, Stateside. As the years pass with no clues as to where Tyler was Dean refused to give up. He didn’t care how long he had to search or how much money it cost he would find her and make it right again.
Tyler made one panicked call to her parents and that was just what Jimmy needed. As soon as Tyler hung up the phone she knew she made a mistake. She knew Dean would look for her until his last breath. What happens when Jimmy reports back with Tyler’s new life? Can Tyler convince Dean to go back home and leave her alone in her new life she made for herself?
Go 1-click this amazing series. It’s one of those reads you can’t read fast enough then realize it’s almost over and want to slow down but can’t. Jaime thank you for writing these amazing books. I look forward to reading more of your work.

This is the follow up to the book...deviant and the continuation of Tyler and Deans story.
Picking up from 4 years after Tyler's fake "death", Dean and Tyler are living separate lives in different countries. While Dean has focused all his energy on tracking Tyler down to win her back, she has been doing her best to move on and leave him far behind.
Once Dean and Tyler finally get round to sorting out all their problems, Dean's dangerous past comes back to haunt them. Now that he's reunited with Tyler and his young son, Dean has something to lose for the first time in years.
He has he biggest fight of his life on his hands....
Redemption was a nice follow-up to 'Deviant', tying up all those loose ends. In my opinion, this book didn't have the same darkness that the first book did, This one had more of a sweet heartwarming feel to it
Nevertheless it was still one hell of a read!!

I am sorry Jaimie, I really am a fan - and I will keep checking out your work because you are a great writer.

Will I read anything else from this author? ... Yes . I guess this one is just one of those for me
