REDMOND Real Sea Salt - no more cramps, good taste, easy to pour container.
Well these reviews definitely convinced me to try this brand of "unrefined" salt. After discovering a video that salt, specifically Celtic salt, which is salt that isn't processed, demineralized, and additives (like anti-clumping agents) is added, may help with my mineral deficiency problems.Just to give a quick background, I mainly needed to find something that would help with leg cramping (every morning), despite drinking tons of water before and during the night. I've also tried several other mineral "supplements" like potassium & magnesium vitamins, multi-vitamins, pedialyte and other electrolyte powders, even gatorade (but I didn't want the sugar) and the Zero sugar only comes in limited flavors. Anyway nothing seemed to help and I also wanted something economical. So I decided to try this unrefined salt thing.I did find Celtic salt but at the time it was sold out and was pretty pricey. So since I had no choice but to find something else, I ran into this brand. Also this seemed to be an inexpensive alternative ($16 for 26oz at the time of this review). So I tried it, first using only 1 teaspoon into my 30 oz water bottle, drinking it a few hours before bedtime.Result:Basically instantly, that first morning I had no cramping and haven't had any since adding this to my water every day. They have completely disappeared, as compared to having them EVERY morning like clockwork. And to make sure it was this salt that was making a difference, I didn't do any different activities, drink, or eat anything different in my daily routine other than adding this to my water.I didn't mind the slight salty water taste, but I found adding a little flavor squirt (those tiny bottles of concentrated flavor) to the water doesn't change the effectiveness of the salt so now I add some flavor to my waters in addition to the salt. I also tried a little in my coffee and it adds something different to the taste, which I actually like. And any time I want salt on something I add this stuff.I also ended up buying some Celtic salt after they came back in stock just to see if there was anything different with the quality and there really isn't. I mean my leg cramping stopped so it's not like I experienced anything more beneficial using the "Celtic salt" brand. But if money isn't an issue I would say they both work equally well. The only negative I have with this brand is that there is a tiny amount that doesn't dissolve. I get tiny bits of crystals or grains that end up on the bottom of whatever container I put it in, but it's not a lot. It's just if I drink all of it I end up having a few tiny crystals in my mouth that I end up crunching with my teeth. And this is even after leaving it in overnight and still not dissolving. And it's not bad, just a little annoying.I even bought a grinder that ground this up to an even finer grain, but those tiny crystals were still not dissolving. But the fix I had for this is that I just leave a very small amount of liquid on the bottom and just dump it out. The tiny undissolved crystals seem to be heavy enough that they drop to the bottom and stay there. Which brings me to a credit to "Celtic salt", that brand seemed to all dissolve and not have the left over problem.I also usually don't recommend any "supplements" to any of my friends because most it is subjective. But I am truly convinced that this is what cured my leg cramping/dehydration problems, and now all my friends that complain about cramping or dehydration I give them a little sample of this stuff to try.It comes in this soft bag that you can pour out of easily, but I transferred it to a jar with a lid so I can just scoop my teaspoon in easier. I found this stuff clumps easily. So make sure to always keep it tightly sealed and stored in a dry place. So other than the insoluble tiny amounts of crystals left on the bottom of my bottle, I definitely recommend to try this brand, it works for me at least.

I’ve been a dedicated water drinker for years, often consuming a gallon daily, and even up to two gallons in the summer. This routine led to frequent trips to the restroom, especially at night.

After exploring various health podcasts and studies, I decided to try filtered water with a pinch of salt. Now, I’ve adjusted my intake to about a quart of water a day with a teaspoon of sea salt. The taste is refreshing and reminiscent of a liquid death with some melted ice, perfect for quenching my thirst.

The benefits have been remarkable. I now only need to visit the restroom about three times a day, and my hydration is still effective. I feel healthier overall, with reduced cravings for sugary snacks, opting instead for fruits. My soda consumption has also decreased significantly, going from several cans a day to just one or two a week.

Best of all, the water doesn't taste salty, making it a pleasant addition to my daily routine. Highly recommend trying this method for anyone looking to improve their hydration and overall health!

Great tasting real salt! Just the way our Lord intended. No fillers or junk!
It’s ground really fine so there’s that. But I’m sure you can get different grinds so pay attention for that when purchasing.

Appears to be good quality salt, but the price is too high for the amount that you get. For some reason, a lot of the salt manufacturers have increased their prices, when salt is in abundance.

5.0 out of 5 stars Taste great! Really! Better than "salt"!
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on January 4, 2024
I don't know how to explain, but you gotta try it to understand it. It's salt, but it taste different than salt.

It tastes as good saltiness, while feels more gentle, tender, in a bit layers of tasting.

If I really have to describe it, it's like:
- For maths/science guru, normal table salt is like a square wave, just turn saltiness on. This salt, however, is like a beautiful sine wave.
- For audiophile, normal table salt is like a normal below 30 pounds/euro headphone, you get the sound, as you just get the saltiness. This salt is like swapping to an over 300 pounds/euro or more monitor headphones, with extra details surfacing up in the experience which are not discovered before.
- For musicians, like some master said "vibrato is not just switching on and off"
- For artists, normal table salt is like massive copycat of so called art, or AI or collage or splashing that thousands of artists doing the same and still sold in galleries, just for decorations and for the sake of as if there's art just being there. This salt is like more mature artists with deeper expression and philosophy in the art piece.
- For coders and geeks, table salt is like codes just written for the sake of closing the dirty tasks for once, even hardcoding variables. This salt feels more like properly architected structures and clean codes well remarked, that we'd appreciate every layer and components with comfort.

Err... keep going? how to describe more for all others? Just try it and you'd know.

BTW, it's a bit pricy. However my wife insist only using this salt now and no others. Anyway I'm the one paying...
