This is my second biometric scale from Renpho. I loved my first one and I got this one just because it has the wifi connectivity. My old renpho still works well but it only had bluetooth connectivity so it was kinda annoying to connect to bluetooth every single time. The wifi connectivity is so much better and I love this navy blue color.. Now coming to how accurate it is? Well I am not sure but atleast the weight seems to be accurate, I just dont have any other way to measure the water , protein or muscle percentage. But if you use it consistently you will atleast have a reference point and you can take that as a starting point and see how much progress you are making. Just go for it!!

Not one scale will be 100% accurate, but using the same scale should yield you consistent numbers day after day. I would highly recommend it and would definitely buy it again.

I had the previous version of this model as well. Even with wifi it doesnt store all the info/metrics to your app when you weigh yourself without the app open. Was expecting the wifi connection to make the UI UX better, but still have to have the phone open on the app to get all of the results…

I have used a lot of scales and this is my favorite! The app is easy to use.

Several family members use the app and scale and, as long as only the correct person has the app open, the scale sends the information to that person. For my teens who don't have cellphones, I can toggle my app to them and it updates their weights.

We noticed that if the weight is different by about 3 pounds, the app will ask if the correct person is logged in. This is SUCH a wonderful feature!

I also like that you just step on the scale and it weighs. Some other scales I've used you have "wake up" first and then step on. The Renpho also sends the information very quickly to the app.

I'm honestly not sure how accurate the pulsing stuff is. It's fun to see but I'm not sure how the integrity of it.

We bought the 11”X11” size which is 0.8” wider and longer so it would be easier to stand onto. We LOVE this scale and the many body measurements it records -Like BMi etc. The app is worrisome though because Your Private Information (Privacy Agreement) is Relinguished to Their Needs, Not Yours. I did not register with my email address and name but used the GUEST Mode. This allows me to upload via Bluetooth to their App and I then have to Select the weight measurement from the upload (from others who may have used it too). My selection then pulls all the other measurements associated with that reading (BMi etc). The app also updates the Apple Health app on my phone for additional tracking. We LOVE the ability to see historical information in the app for each of the tracked measurements and the scale for each to understand we our measurement lies within the Low/Good/Bad ranges. We would Buy Again for our Cottage and continued tracking our PHUN (FUN) Adventures Towards a Healthy Retirement! Hope this review Helps YOU! S&C

Troubleshooting the Wifi Was the Hardest Part- See Below For Help

This scale and app worked very well via Bluetooth. Not so much for the wifi which is why I bought the scale. Each time I tried to connect to wifi, the connection failed. Fortunately, I received a quick and thorough answer from the Renpho customer service and the instructions worked! I want to include those details below for those of you who are also having wifi connection issues. The notes below are adapted from the email from Renpho.

Requirements before starting:
- Make sure your phone is connected to a 2.4ghz SSID (your wifi network ID) not 5ghz (5 is not supported)
- Make sure the scale is connected to Bluetooth

1. Try to pair wifi, enter a wrong password and after the app displays "Failed to repair Wifi", go to "Device Management", swipe the model number of the scale(with the wifi icon) to the left then delete the scale

2. Turn on the Bluetooth, GPS, and wifi of your phone, go to "Device Management" to add your scale to your app account, and sync one measurement to your app account (i.e weigh yourself).

3. Again, make sure the Bluetooth, GPS, and wifi of your phone is on and go to "Device Management", tap the model number of the scale, and enter the correct password, tap "CONFIRM". After the app displays "Step on", press one foot on the scale to wake up the scale(don't use both of your feet to step on and don't weight yourself, just make sure the scale is wakened up while pairing) and wait for the completion of pairing

4. If it pairs successfully, steps on the scale to take a measurement(until the scale shuts off automatically- let the entire process complete and it finishes by displaying "OPEN APP") and check if the measurement syncs to your app account successfully

5. After the above was done successfully, turn off your Bluetooth, step on the scale to take a measurement(until the scale shuts off automatically), and check if the measurement sync to your app account successfully.

6. You can turn your Bluetooth back on now and the scale will utilize the wifi.

Notes from Renpho:
1.When you use the wifi scale for the first time, you need to pair the scale with your phone via Bluetooth first. After you sync one measurement to your app account via Bluetooth successfully, you can pair the scale with your phone via wifi.

2.IOS 13 and the above version require Bluetooth permissions. IOS 14 and the above version require "Precise Location" to be turned on. For Android, you need to turn on the GPS to sync with the scale. Please make sure the Bluetooth permission/Precise Location/GPS/Bluetooth is turned on when your pair wifi for the first time.

3. Again, it works with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi but does not support 5G Wi-Fi.

4.After you pair wifi successfully, the stored data(when you measure without your phone) can sync to your app account automatically if your phone is connected with the network(phone network or wifi). If the app recognizes the user automatically, the stored data will be assigned to the corresponding user's profile; if the app cannot recognize the user, the app will prompt "unknown measurements" and you can assign the measurements to the correct user. The scale itself can store 10 measurements.

I also wanted a scale that could sync with my smartphone and other apps that I use to track my progress. I chose the RENPHO Wi-Fi Body Fat Scale because it had good features and a reasonable price. Here are some of the pros and cons of this body fat scale:

One of the pros of this body fat scale is that it works with both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and can switch between the two connection modes automatically. This means that I don’t have to worry about pairing or unpairing my phone every time I use the scale. It also means that I can use the scale even when there is no Wi-Fi signal available.

Sie Waage hat ein schickes Design und ist durch die Farbe weiß relativ unanffällig für Flecken im Vergleich zu durchsichtigen Produkten. Die Verbindung per WLAN oder Bluetooth klappt hervorragend und die Zuordnung der Daten zu verschiedenen Nutzern läuft einwandfrei. Über die Genauigkeit der Werte kann ich nur das Gewicht vergleichen und dieses stimmt mit anderen Messergebnissen anderer Hersteller überein.

Nach einem halben Jahr Nutzung wird das Gewicht und der BMI noch angezeigt, jedoch werden die Messwerte nicht mehr abgebildet und die Waage schaltet sich aus. Ich nehme an, dass ein Sensor für die Messung defekt ist. Kurzerhand habe ich dem Kzndensupport geschrieben und innerhalb eines Tages eine Antwort erhalten. Nach Angabe der Seriennummer bekomme ich nun eine neue Waage. Den Defekt nehme ich somit als wenig störend wahr, da das Produkt an sich super ist und Support schnell reagiert hat.

I love the scales, set up and connected within 2 minutes without any issue. Wi-Fi connection has worked seemlessly. Don’t let other people put you off. Connection issues could be due to people’s router set up (it needs to be on a 2.4ghz network not 5ghz - this can be set up in the router settings). The scales are attractive small and so far have given consistent results. I am delighted for the price and I’m glad I went for this over the more expensive workings models I was considering. My only complaint is, I wish it had a rechargeable battery instead of replaceable batteries. The body fat percentage is also much higher than a more professional body fat analyser at my gym, around 50% higher! So I don’t think you can rely on the figure. However, it is still useful as you can monitor trends.

I have been using these scales for a while now, i also own 3 other items of this brand and never have any issues with. The scales are very easy to operate, clear instructions.

I love the feature that allows you to just step on them and they know who you are and you do not need to have you phone or app open for it to store the data.

How accurate they are i an not 100% as my older scales give different reading by at least 4% however the readings given by these scales are consistant, If i was to go on the scales a few times it would give the same reading and not change or jump around like some other scales i have used.

Overall i would recommend for sure
