I was a little hesitant to buy a paint sprayer because I’ve never used one before and had heard mixed opinions about them as I was researching. To be honest even after I purchased this, I was reluctant to pull it out of the box and use it because I was concerned it would be difficult to use. Well... I was wrong.
This thing is awesome. Like— better than a Sunday afternoon nap. It made repainting the walls so much easier, and I don’t think I could go back to using a roller.
Here are a couple tips I found using it that I hope help anyone reading this:
First, taking care of it will go a long way. If you clean it properly at the end of each use, you won’t have any issues. Soapy water does wonders.
When starting to paint, watch out because occasionally the first spray flicks out a bit of built up splatter... most of the time that can actually be avoided by just wiping off the build up on the nossle.
Also I would recommend goggles and a mask, and covering EVERYTHING of value in the room your planning to paint; after painting our entire living room and kitchen, I could see there was a decent amount of paint dust in the air and the next day it settled on anything that wasn’t covered.
Great sprayer at a price you can’t beat! I’ll be excited to use this down the road for smaller projects and furniture. If you’re on the fence about a sprayer, just get it and you’ll thank yourself later!
