About this item

  • Compact & Versatile Heater: Our Mini Heater, with a compact body, can be placed anywhere on the 3D printer. It helps you to heat up the resin and rise&keep the ambient temperature. Make your 3D printer work well, save your time and resin.
  • Wide Temperature Control: Freely adjust the heating temperature within a range of 10℃(50℉)-50℃(122℉). Catering to your specific printing needs. Easy and safe to use. Just plug the temperature controller into the socket, then place it into the 3D pirnter, set the ambient temperature, Press the "+"for a higher temperature or “-" for a lower temperature.
  • Improve the Printing Quality: Most resin normal use environmental temperature is 20 ~ 30 degrees. Once the temperature is lower, the return speed will slow down, resulting in failed printing. our temperature controller, It is specially used to solve the problem of deformation, not sticking to the bed, Layer adhesion ,warming and so on during the printing process of the 3D printer due to lower temperature.
  • Powerful, Safe & High Performance: Our 3D printer heater built in high-precision temperature sensor, accurate to 0.1 ℃. Fireproof case, high-quality power cord, all professionally designed for your safe printing.
  • More Features: the 3D printer temperature controller contains three functions, one is heating, one is Air circulation, and the other is filtering which can filter odor. When the temperature is lower than the set temperature, start heating; when the temperature reaches the set temperature, start fan circulation.
  • Widely Use: The size is 57x32x108mm/2.24x1.26x4.25in. It is suitable for most 8 inches and less than 15inches DLP, LCD 3D printers, Some 6 inch printers can also be installed. Prefect for most brand resin printer, such as Creality, Anycubic, ELEGOO, Frozen.

Product Description

RESIN HEATING CONTROLLER

Why you need a heater for your Resin 3D printer in winter?

  • Most resins have an ideal printing temperature is about 25℃(77℉). If the temperature falls below this, the resin can become viscous, resulting in reduced print quality and even print failure. So we designed this small heater for resin printers. to help you can expect better printing results!
  • Of course, you can DIY a heater yourself, but this may have safety problems. Our Professional design heaters are built for reliability and safety. It's can 24/7 running.

How to install:

  1. Put the heater to the left of 3D printer Z-axis, please do not block the way of Z-axis.
  2. Make the power cable (5mm) come through the printer tank.
  3. Remove the bottom tape, paste and fix it on the left side of the Z-axis of the printer.

How to use:

  1. Setting a target temperature(25℃~30℃).
  2. Wating temperature rise to target temperature and waiting resin get warm.
  3. Start to printing.

Get's cold in the lab at night, and this keeps the printer box toasty. I'd definitely buy again.

This thing is great. It does exactly what it says on the tin. It heats even my Phrozen 8k Mega at a surprising speed.

The adhesive tape on the bottom is garbage though. It's thin and it doesn't stick as the base of the heater isn't perfectly flat, preventing it from making contact with the floor. I'll deduct a point for that. Replace it with any of those padded thicker adhesive tapes and the problem is gone.

I'll also add it doesn't have an off button, if it has power, it is running. I just run the ones in my printers on a dedicated power strip with an on/off switch, so it doesn't pose a problem for me, but for you, it might.

I got pretty tired of jacking the temperature in my shop up to 80 degrees to run prints. Guessing that someone else had already addressed the need, I googled "resin 3D printer heater" and quickly found this little unit. It seems professionally designed and manufactured. Solid. Premium packaging even. Relies on its own 120v wall wort for power, so no batteries, no recharge. It comes with adhesive mounting pre-applied to the bottom, but that was useless for me. I installed this in an Anycubic M3 Premium fitted with dual AirPure units which already take up the main housing top plate real estate to either side of the vertical lift mast. I picked up some 3M Command push-pull mounting strips and mounted one inside the upper left corner of the printer enclosure so that the heater would go about an inch above the left AirPure. I filed a tiny round notch in the amber enclosure's bottom left corner for the cable. The heater cable between the unit itself and the wall wort conveniently includes a power jack so that the heater can be separated from its power easily. This is useful when you lift the cover up and put it aside. I set it to 30 deg C/86 deg F, let it sit for 20 minutes before starting a temperature-sensitive print, and let it run overnight. Not only did the temperamental print run perfectly in the air-conditioned shop, but when it came time to remove the build plate, I found that the increased temperature allows the part and plate to drain far more effectively, simplifying the clean-up between parts and minimizing the amount of resin that makes it into the washer. I'm going to experiment with putting a fitted thermal blanket over the closure to minimize wear and tear on the heater. Now let's see how it holds up!

I certainly wish it was a larger unit for my use case in a Bambu lab printer. Heater itself works great just wish it had more output power.

For its purpose it works great in my Saturn 3 Ultra. The thing not understood when buying is that it heats up to about 4 degrees above set point then switches to a "Fan mode" where it blows the air aound until the unti gets below the set point. Then it repeats the cycle. So it never shuts off. I wish it would heat, then shut off until it gets below heat point.

Works great. I put also a thermocouple at some internal frame column to monitor temperature inside the DLP housing. I put an aluminum plate on an electric heating pad and put my printer on top of it so I could warm up the base. I also put some blocks in front of the air cooing in- and outlets to keep the temperature precisely as desired.

Worked wonders for my m3 plus through winter. Not quite enough for my Jupiter.

Does what it says, although a bit difficult to use in Saturn 3 printer as there isn't a slot for it to plug without the back vent hole
