Quirky & Excellent All At Once

These things fit funny, are small, and need custom manipulating to get them comfortable. They also happen to have a sound that pleases, a beautiful and clear sonic delivery. I forcefully bent my upper head strap so that the phones would cease gripping my head like a vice. Once done, the phones became pleasingly comfortable. Mine fit better left and right reversed, so that I look for the L and place that on my right ear. If I try right on right/left on left, the phones open up slightly forward and away from my ear allowing sound to escape (this was true before I bent them to fit). Left on right makes them conform to my ears perfectly. The ear cups do not swivel on their vertical axis and so must me wrestled with a bit to get the comfort and sound you want. Now I find this all somewhat irritating but then I sit back and listen and I forget where I am, what planet I'm on. Purchase these for the sound and get ready to bend them and fight them for a good comfortable fit. I think these things offer audiophile sound and this justifies the other aspects of the owner experience. Mine are not fully broken in yet and the sound is still awesome. I'll be replacing the 3.5 jack cord as it is also quirky and not completely compatible with devices that readily take my other headphone jacks without complaint. Again, an oddity that in no way diminishes the listening experience. I hope this sheds light on your interest in these headphones. I found the revues intriguing, and I was compelled to purchase them in spite of their strange fit and small stature. You'll find their sound quality unique and enjoyable.
UPDATE: April 7, 2014
My son is nine and is now using these headphones for his iPad mini. He loves them and enjoys the quality sound. They fit him far better than they fit me. He still has to put the right cup on the left ear, but this is a small issue.

Definitely worth the money

I got these headphones for listening to while at work. Since it's a quiet environment already, I didn't want something that would seal out external noise, which is why I chose supra-aural. It still drops external sounds a little, so your co-workers having a conversation a couple offices over is muffled, leaving you aware of your environment, but able to enjoy your music without being distracted.

Their design looks very professional. They don't have the "Look at me, I'm listening to headphones!" appearance many of the modern designs have. The leather, steel, and glossy plastic make them look subdued but classy.

My one complaint, and the reason for subtracting a star is their comfort. Since they don't swivel horizontally (around the vertical axis), they apply pressure on the back part of your ears, which becomes uncomfortable after about 50 minutes of listening. I usually take a 5 minute break every hour to relieve the pressure they apply.

Sound is great; The highs are clear, the mids clean and the bass sufficient but not overwhelming. If you're a "basshead", these aren't your headphones, but if you want a balanced soundstage, these will suit your needs quite well.

Overall, these are a quality headphone that are perfect for semi-quiet environments, but you might want to look elsewhere if you need to have extended listening sessions.

Decent Pair of Headphones

Comfort:

Subjective, for me the headphones were a little tight and there's a reason that the headphone cups are touching one another in the stock photos, they're wound up pretty tight.

Adjustment:

The headphones adjust via sliding on two metal prongs on either side of the cups. They're relatively easy to adjust and don't feel cheap or breakable - unless you really beat them up. They're a problem to adjust given when you're wearing them given how tight the headphones are on your head.

Sound:

For me I thought the bass sounded natural with no enhancements. The sound was a bit muffled during the first few hours I tested the device on Daft Punk's "Tron Legacy" Soundtrack - which has plenty of lows, mids, highs, and bass sounds but right now I find that most of the sounds I hear are relatively clear. On "End of Line" I heard a more clear bass than on a pair of $15 Sony Headphones (totally unfair comparison unless you're going from basic level headphones to this particular one). Mids, and highs were relatively clear but the muffled sound blocked out what I thought was the clarity of the sound.

Cosmetics:
Buyer beware, this headphone's cans will scratch up super easily because of a high gloss finish. I suggest buying a fabric case ASAP to protect them.
I bought this headphone because the cord was detachable and it has proven to be a big plus.

DISAPPOINTING

I didn't expect too much at the price point of these headphones but I'm still disappointed. The only positive thing I can say is that headphone quality and comfort are very subjective and I'm sure there are others who are completely satisfied with these.

For me: they are uncomfortable to wear and the sound quality is not noticeably better than any number of cheaper, big-box store offerings. I did not buy them as a primary headphone (I've got some true audiophile-quality phones for most listening) but simply to use on-the-go and at the gym. Even for these basic uses, I've gone back to a pair of old $20 SONY's!
